MICROWAVE MAYTAG UMC5200BAS06 "Arrived on site to inspect microwave losing power after use. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit with a cup of water for 1 min. After the heating cycle, the unit gave three notification alarms then lost power. I pulled the unit from the wall and removed the cover and plugged it back in. At this point, it was not turning on. I found 125V at the outlet and getting 125V at the filter board and 125V being sent out from the filter board but the unit would not power up. I checked continuity at the power cord and it was good. I am ordering the main control, all the switches and the filter board. Also ordering CNOTE-AUTHORIZATION (AHS). RANGE WHIRLPOOL WEG745H0FS0 Arrived onsite for a range that gets to temp but will not stay at temp and the burner will not light again unless the cycle is cancelled and restarted. I tested the ignition system and checked the burner for correct flame. I found delayed ignition with the burner causing it to explode when it did light and choke the flame out. I made adjustments to the air shutter and changed the air fuel mixture and I adjusted the bake Ignitor. I tested the oven at 500 degrees and the unit is cycling the burner on and off and its working as designed. I did find the tip of the bake ignitor slightly worn and explained to the customer that this would probably need to be replaced in the future. Call complete.

REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WSR57R18DM02 Arrived onsite for a refrigerator thats not cooling again. I found the evaporator completely packed in frost not allowing any air movement. I found the fan running properly. I checked the temp of the evaporator thermistor and found it at 33 degrees. I tested the resistance of the thermistor and found it at 8.5K ohms and in range. I ran service diagnostics and found the heater working and no failures. I defrosted the coil. I found the gaskets around the cover getting bad so I replaced them. I found no warm air leaks and the drain line clear. I suspect the control possibly failing again. Ordering W11282569 CONTRL-BOX & WPW10384183 THERMISTOR. I tested the ignitor and found it bad. Removed and replaced the ignitor and retested and the ignitor failed to come on. I found on the connection from the main harness, one of the pins had pulled out. Adjusted & secured the pin and retested and the unit and it is operating as designed. Upon further inspection of the unit I was able to verify and find that the issue with the dispenser was with the main UI control on the front of the fridge there was a loose wire harness that was inside the Y causing the dispenser not to be activated with how it was wired into the Y itself I didn’t replace the wire make sure that the new wire connection was tighten up that it would not come loose and causes issue to come back. I then re-test the dispenser and verify that it now dispensers ice and water as designed. Call complete
