Took photos of all tamale to unit and floor under unit. Wood floor below unit is buckling due to water leak from drain tube over flowing. Called tech line and spoke to Andrew #7729283540 to discuss rust issue and if repair can be made due to rust not allowing for proper seal around drain port and water dripping from around drain tube indicating water is in the insulation of the unit. Recommended just repairing sealed system and rust is not a concern. Installed new compressor, evaporator, stub and drier. Vacuumed system to clear and test for leaks. Charged with 5.5oz 134a and tested operation. Unit tests good. Instructed customer that the unit will take 24 hours to reach temps and 48 hours to make ice. Job complete"

I tested the pressures and found it at 30 psi when equalized indicating a possible leak. I found a leak in the center of the RC evaporator. I replaced the evaporator and dye drier. I ran a long vacuum and the system held a 30 psi vacuum. I charged the system with 5.50 ozs of R134A. I tested the unit and had good pressures and frost patterns on both coils. Call complete.

Due to the RC evaporator frosting over and the thermistor going bad, I removed and replaced the RC evap motor/harness, placed the thermistor on the suction line next to the weld and secured it with foil tape and ziptie. Using a clamp, I secured the evaporator to the back the unit on the left and right side. Placed two shims in between the evap cover and drip pan near the center to level the drip pan. Removed and replaced the hv control and tested the unit. Unit is beginning to cool and operate as designed. I recommended that the customer allow the unit 12 hours to cool and approximately 24 hours to begin to make ice. No water leaks observed during service.

After further inspection, I found the customer had pressed the extra rinse button which added time to the normal wash. I demonstrated to the customer of my findings. I noticed a lot of suds in the washer during testing and the customer advised that they have a water softener. I also found water in the IM. He resident stated that she had turned the cooling up to try and make ice then turned it to the minimum because they thought the lines might be frozen. I replaced the ice maker and asked the customer to monitor the unit to see if the ice production returns. I noticed the panel In the FC was turned to minimum so I changed it to recommended I also noticed there were items pressed up against the vents in the FC I advised about the importance of airflow for ice production. WASHER LG WM4270HVA Arrived onsite for washer showing LE error. Upon inspection and while in diagnostics on spin cycle I found the rotor stator or rear of the unit making a scratchy noise. I accessed the rotor and stator and found that when in set to spin it would wobble badly then show the LE error. The rotor and stator need to be replaced I am also recommending replacing the bearing as well. Since there a 10 year warranty on the drive system I advised the customer to contact LG about the warranty information on the unit to get it scheduled for repair.

WASHER MAYTAG MVWB855DC3 Arrived on site for washer that was leaking water when in use. Upon arrival I ran a diagnostic check but could not get any error codes indicating a software or hardware issue and after running test one through 14 in the test cycle I could not find a leak coming from anywhere on the washer including but not limited to the washer inlet valve drain pump circulation pump hoses etc. At this point I was noticing that the cold water shut off behind the washer had a split in it and fed one cold water line to the dryer and upon further inspection the dryer I found that the Water steam inlet valve for the dryer was leaking from the plastic nozzle inside of the drum and had been steadily working this entire time causing water to pull up under the dryer and then go to the washer which is why the customer saw the washer itself is leaking. We will need to return with a new steam and leave valve as well as brass nozzle etc. for the dryer in order to prevent leaking from gett
