When I went to test voltage at the burner relay, I got 0V and the unit failed to turn on.I removed and replaced the main control and retested and unit is operating as designed. Arrived on site for a range with the lower oven that was not working. I gained access to the ignitor and then tested the unit. I found the lower oven bake ignitor not getting red at all. Upon further inspection I found the ignitor harness broken. I installed the new ignitor and then tested the unit. I found the unit now working as designed

"Arrived on site for a dryer that is making an electric sound and is shutting down th dryer after starting a cycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit after she initially starts it will run for about 2 to 3 minutes but will be making a labored sound and as soon as that electric sound happens, the timer will continue to run but nothing else happens for the complete rest of the cycle. She advised that itll be several hours until the unit will work and then unplugging or flipping off the breaker and flipping it back on does not do anything. I checked voltage going to the unit and found proper voltage and polarity at the plug. The customer advised they recently had the breaker replaced. Tested the unit a time dry cycle and found the unit running as designed for over 10 minutes without making the same sound. Attempted to replicate the issue several more times and could not replicate the issue. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Austin SR# 7732683699. He advised that based on the sound of the complaint, the issue would most likely be with the overload tripping on the motor due to too little voltage or too much voltage being supplied when this is happening. But because voltage is showing correct right now it is most likely that that is why the unit is working as designed. He advised to have the customer call back if further issues persisted but to first check with an electrician about the electrical supply prior to having return service. Checked all connections underneath unit to the motor and could not find any pinched wiring or connection issues. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived to inspect gas freestanding range gas smell. Powered the oven on and found the bake and broil both work properly. The smell was from the bake igniter reigniting during the normal bake cycle. The natural smell is normal. No leaks detected. Job complete

Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit is stopping within the first few minutes or at least the first 20 minutes of the cycle. They advised that the unit does not seem to complete the cycle and its intermittent as to when it actually shuts off. They did indicate that the unit flashes the clean LED when it does not finish the cycle. Ran through diagnostics and found an F9 E1. Check the drain portion of the dishwasher and did confirm that the dishwasher had issues draining properly. Checked the garbage disposal and found the garbage disposal full of junk. Cleaned out the garbage disposal and tested the unit again. The dishwasher still had an issue. Checked the drain pump and found debris inside the drain pump area remove the debris and test the unit several times. The unit is now working as designed. Call complete.

I advised the customer of my findings and showed them the photos I took.

Customer advised that they have someone coming to clean the vents next week. I recommended that the customer contact our office after the cleaning if the unit continues to fail.

I gained access to the back of the unit and ohmd out all elements and the sensor. I found the broil element and the sensor good. However, the bake element was open and faulty. Therefore the unit would need a new bake element to repair. I installed the new element and then tested the unit. I preheat the unit in bake to 350?F. The unit is now working as designed.

"Arrived on site for a dryer with long dry times, and lint not getting caught. I tested airflow with my airflow test kit and found it poor for all dryers. I then checked temperature fluctuations at the vent with it on and off. I found it running as designed with the vent off, but with the vent on there was almost no fluctuation at all. I then removed the dryer vent at the wall and found a ball of lint completely covering the tube. This is what is causing poor airflow in the unit, and in turn causing long dry times. This is also why no lint is getting caught in the trap, for there is no airflow. I informed the customer of my findings and recommended they get a professional vent cleaner to remove any lint. I advised them on not running the unit for safety concerns until this is done. I found the unit running as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that was throwing the F6E1 error code. Upon arrival the customer stated that the unit would also make a loud noise, and would always delay the start for a while. They provided a video, and it was a loud clanking noise. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F6E1 for CCU and MCU communication error, F8E3 for overflow condition, F9E1 for long drain, and F9E2 for pump drive system error. I cleared the error codes. I attempted to run a diagnostics cycle, but all it would do is lock and drain. The unit never performed any other step. I gained access to the motor and drive assembly. Upon further inspection I found the drive shaft had rust build up, and the belt was getting worn down. I found the shaft slipping and causing the belt to slip and wear down. In order to repair the unit we would need to replace the drive shaft, belt, and MCU

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that was leaking water. Upon further inspection I found the bottom of the RC covered in water and a sheet of ice. I gained access to the drain tube and found it severely clogged. I replaced the drain tube and sealed it with personal stock of perma gum. I then steamed out as much ice as I could, and advised the customer to leave the unit off for a minimum of 48 hours to thaw ice throughout the drain. I also found that the right side RC light was out, and the top RC lights were dim and flickering. Due to this I am ordering the lights to return and install. Upon further inspection I found the unit stacked, and I informed the customer that in order to fully diagnose the unit, we would need a second technician to help remove the dryer. I informed the customer of the second technician service fee, and the customer agreed to pay the additional service fee. I did test the water flow from the wall and found it very hard. I inspected the valves with the hose off and found them slightly clogged. I informed the customer this could be the cause of the low flow, but in order to fully diagnose we would need to return with two technicians. When I removed the drain pump, I found evidence of an object rubbing against the walls of the drain and the empellers were damaged. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator needing a new water line. Upon further inspection I found the unit needed a new water line, and inlet fill line to the filter housing I installed both lines, and then verified there were no leaks. No leaks were observed at the time of service. I tested the water at the dispenser and found it working as designed.Call complete."

Arrived on site to diagnose a refrigerator with ice getting stuck in chute. Found no failures to unit at this time and advised customer on findings. No further repairs needed and no leaks were found at time of service.

Arrived onsite for dishwasher beeping and not washing dishes.upon inspection I found water in overflow tray.(third trip out for the same thing) I call techline and spoke Bruce and he recommended that the customer switch to a powder detergent and to use less soap and not to rinse the dishes before Putting them in the dishwasher because they have a water softener and not doing these things will cause a over sudsing issue which causes water too leak into the overflow tray.Sr#7732671604. "Arrived on site to inspect venthood not working properly. Upon further inspection, I tested the venthood and found that the blower operates at the same mode when its in low and high modes. The blower motor is making a humming noise as if something is caught in the blades and not allowing it to move. I tested the control and it is operating properly. I advised the customer that due to the position of the motor, I would need to have a second tech assist me in pulling the motor down. I am ordering the blower, CNOTE-2MAN, CNOTE-2HOUR JOB, CNOTE-LSO PER CUSTOMER REQUEST. Arrived onsite and replaced the heater. Unit is now operating as designed. Advised customer on the repair.

"Arrived on site for refrigerator lights not illuminating. Inspected unit and work area. Found both FC lights dimmed. Gained access to main FC module, removed module and installed new. Found all lights working as designed. No water leaks detected during service."

"Arrived on site to test unit for LF burner not getting hot. Verified voltage(240vac). Got no resistance off element. Replaced element, tested unit, unit working as designed. Job complete."

"Arrived on site for complaints of no water out of the water dispenser. Tested valve with water line from truck stock and found the valve failed. Installed new valve and tested, no change. Found reservoir slightly frozen. Used heat gun to thaw out line. Tested and found water dispenser working properly. Adjusted temperature in RC down to second setting. Arrived on site to diagnose a dishwasher that is not turning on. Found switch on wall that turns on power to dishwasher turned off. Reset switch to on position and all is working properly at this time. No leaks were found at time of service.

Arrived onsite and diagnosed a clogged air trap throwing an LF error. Cleared air trap and ran tests. Unit is now operating as designed. Advised customer on status and findings.

Arrived on call for complaint of not washing. Found loose connection at valve. Correct wire issue and test.

"Arrived on site for complaints of water filter being stuck. Found water filter tough to release, but it did release without breaking anything. Installed new filter provided by customer and tested. New water filter tested good. No water leaks detected.

Arrived on site for cooktop valves being stuck. I inspected the unit and work area. We gained access to the valves and removed the wire harness. We tested the valves and found them still hard to move. We quoted the customer for all 5 valves. The office will reschedule when we have eta on the parts.
