"Arrived on site for WASHER WILL TURN ON AND WHEN WASH IN INITIATED WILL TURN OFF. Placed in diagnostics and got F9E2, F5E2. Based on error codes I ran the drain pump and checked lid latch. Both tested good in auto diagnostics and manual diagnostics. Checked resistance of both at the control and resistance was off. Removed drain pump and lid latch. Installed new lid latch and drain pump. Ran calibration then tested lid lock and drain pump. Washer working as designed. No leaks detected while new drain pump drained. Job completed."

Performed diagnostics mode and tested RC thermistor and found reading 35? and evaporator thermistor at 31?. Tested evaporator fan and found air flowing from air tower. Gained access to control board and measured resistance on evaporator thermistor and RC thermistor. Placed thermal K in bottom rear of RC. Found RC thermistor at 6.87 k ohms and evaporator thermistor at 11.82 k ohms. Called Whirlpool tech support and spoke with Andrew. Went over service performed and he stated unit is cooling as designed (sr# 7732154186). All tested good, no water leaks detected during service."

Upon further inspection I found the rails iced up causing friction and making it difficult to open the freezer door. Once the ice was cleared the door opened and closed as designed. I put my flashlight in the freezer and inspected the gasket for any leaks. I found none. Arrived on site for a wash machine that is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F8 E1 (low/no water detected) error code. Tested both valves and the drain and found it working properly. I did find the cold water valve pulling in a little less than optimal water when it was trying to fill. Did notice the drain pipe at the back wall was also a little high then the installation guide would have it. Replaced water valve and tested the unit. Found the cold water valve was pulling in more water. I advised the customer that the water valve would be the only thing causing that error code on the unit if the issue was with the unit itself. I did inform her that her high drain for potential loading could cause that issue if she has anything that soaks up a lot of water during a rinse cycle. We?re in the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for a dryer that is not drying clothes. Inspected unit and work area. Found the unit heating and checked behind the unit. Found the vent hose completely crunched and blocked not allowing airflow out of the dryer. Use the vent test kit on the unit and found the unit had poor airflow for all dryers. Removed the vent hose and found the vent has kept showing good airflow for all dryers coming out of the back of the dryer. I did advise the customer that her issue is with her vent hose and attempted to fix it. Found the vent hose completely crunched and not remolding itself to fit properly. I did advise the customer they would need to buy a new dryer vent hose to allow proper airflow going out. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that?s going off balance. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised normal wash load cycle seem to be OK but when she?s doing heavier loads of towels or throw blankets, the unit seems to go off balance not finish the load. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F0 E5 (off balance load) error code. Ran the unit through an auto test in the unit ran as designed. I did notice the washer unlevel due to the house being slanted. I did adjust the feet on the washer but did advise to her that heavier load cycles can go off balance due to uneven weight distribution. I did show her how to complete her cycle if that happens in order to get the unit to finish but did advise that she would need to re-distribute her clothes evenly. The unit is working as designed. Arrived on site for a range that won?t heat either oven. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed customers complaint and found the igniter is turning on but no gas being supplied. Checked voltage from the control and found proper voltage going to the igniter?s. Check the igniter?s for resistance and off showed within range. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Drew SR# 7732144365. He had me check resistance he values again and tracing voltage. He advised that the resistance value on the valve was out of spec and to replace the gas valve. Check the new gas valve and check resistance on the valve. Found the same resistance rating on the valve. I called back to whirlpool Techline and spoke to Adrian (same SR#). He had me check to see if the safety check valve was turned off or on. I found that the valve is turned off which he advised would only make it to where the burners were receiving gas. Flipped it on and all the elements began to ignite and turn on as designed. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for refrigerator with door scraping or squeaking when opened. Upon inspection I confirmed the RC door creaks and squeaks badly when opening and closing. I removed the door and inspected the hinge and cams. I found the hinge slightly sagging and no grease on the bottom cams. I bent the hinge up slightly and added grease to the cams. I re installed the door and it is no longer squeaking. The customer brought to my attention the unit being out of level. I leveled the unit. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for refrigerator making clicking noise. Upon inspection I found the FC=6 RC=32 when set to 38 and 0. I ran thermistor tests is diagnostics and they all passed. I ran the damper but could not recreate any abnormal noises. I waited and started hearing the clicking in question. I pulled the unit from the wall and found the warning label was tapping against the wall causing the clicking noise. I accessed the control and tested resistance values of the thermistors. They showed in range. I replaced the main control due to the temperatures being off in both sections. I advised the customer to monitor the unit. Job complete.

Customer had a concern about the ice cubes getting stuck in the ice chute and water would drop out when the door gets opened from the ice chute. Tested the ice dispenser and some cubes did get stuck. Called Techline said to be sure that the ice dispenser pedal is pushed all the way to let the door open fully. Said that some ice buildup may occur over time if the customer only uses crushed ice and that some of the ice may turn into water and drip over time because a lot of outside air can get to that area melt the ice.
