"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator tripping the breaker. Upon further inspection, I found the unit unplugged and GFCI breaker turned off. Turned breaker on and plugged unit in and tested in diagnostics. Tested all components that the tech sheet shows to be testing and the unit never tripped the breaker. Contacted techline and spoke to Andrew and advised of the complaint and my findings. Andrew recommended replacing the GFCI breaker as whirlpool does not recommend having appliances on GFCI breakers due to them being weak and will trip at any interference in electrical current. Provided SR#7730868678. I advised the tenant of this information and attempted to contact the owner, but was unable to get through. Unit left turned on and is currently cooling as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site for FRIDGE HAS STOPPED COOLING. STAYING AROUND 60- FRZR IS OK. Found fridge cooling as designed upon arrival. Customer stated he took the majority of the interior panels off then reinstalled it and slowly it started to cool to the set temps over a few days. Currently the fridge temp was set to 37 and freezer 0 where recommended. We went ahead and removed the air tower to locate the dampener. The dampener was open upon inspection but most likely the dampener was not opening prior to him removing the interior panels. Explained he most likely freed the dampener from being shut when he did his own tooling with it.

Upon arrival, I asked the customer about their cold water valve and they advised that they noticed that the cold water pressure has dropped at all faucets in the home. I recommended that they have a plumber check their water lines in the home due to the cold water pressure being low. I advised the customer that the washer is operating as designed but due to the cold water pressure being low, the unit is taking too long to fill and therefore the unit will shut down and drain the water and not spin.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator not making ice and not dispensing water. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=1 degree. I found the ice bin with ice in it, but very small cubes. Tested the water dispenser and the water came out in a trickle. Tested the ice maker fill tube and it only filled the first 3 spaces in the tray. As I was about to pull the unit m its space, I found the water line kinked at the back of the unit. Pulled the unit out and adjusted the water line as I pushed the unit back into its space. Taped the line to the back of the unit to keep it upright and relieved the unit. Retested the dispenser and it is operating as designed.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator making a loud noise. Upon arrival the customer stated it was a humming noise and had a video. It sounded like a loud fan noise. I checked temps in the unit and found the FC at 3?F and the RC at 38?F. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and activated the FC evap fan, the RC evap fan, the baffle, the ice box fan, harvest the IM, ran a fill on the IM and none made any abnormal noise. I then ran test four and could still not replicate the noise. I could not replicate the noise and found the unit running as designed at the time of service.

I inspected the owi and it looks good with no water or evidence of a leak within the sensor. I reassembled the unit and tested again. I found the left side closure causing the door to get stuck about 3 inch from closing. There is an issue with the closure latch getting stuck on the hinge. Found during high speed agitation that there was a faint knocking noise anytime washplate changed directions. Ran a loud of 3 towels in unit during a normal quick wash cycle and found an odd knocking noise imitating from the gearcase compartment and washplate areas of unit. Found gearcase properly mounted. Found after further inspection that the gearcase has slightLy stretched splines causing inner gear case to knock when rotated. Called whirlpool techline and spoke with Chris sr# 7730648976. Techline stated noise was normal but did say if needed we could replace gearcase as well as slider again. I found the customer often puts tall wooden spoons or utensils by the dispenser. I advised the customer and showed her how this can block the soap from coming out. The customer agreed this is very possible. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error code F9E1 for diverter not finding position. During the test cycle I found the sump and motor skipping around and not running correctly. I installed the new sump and motor and tested the unit in diagnostics again. I turned the unit on and found the element illuminating at the back left vent area. I tested airflow to the unit with my vent testing kit and it showed poor airflow. I disassembled the unit and found lint on the inside of the unit. Removed the back panel and tested the element and its operating as designed. I removed the lint chute and found it clogged with lint. Using my shop vac, I vacuumed the lint from the unit and removed and replaced the dryer repair kit (4392065) 2-rollers, tension pulley and belt and reassembled the unit. Retested and unit is operating as designed except for the door switch. I am ordering the switch and office to schedule return service.
