I found a large amount of suds in the tub after testing. Recommended that the customer clean the unit with a cleaner and switch to a liquid detergent due to oversudsing. Tested components on the back and found the thermal cut off was open. Replace thermal cut off and tested unit. Unit is now working as designed but found an airflow issue with the venting as the temperatures werent cycling correctly and was taking a while for the temperatures to drop indicating airflow restriction. I checked the blower wheel housing and exhaust vent for blockage and found none. I advised the customer that the reason for there park going out was the venting issue with their vents going out of the building. I advised her to submit a service request to clean out their vent.

Found where previous tech had used a sound pad to insulate the condenser rattling against the bottom of the cabinet. Pad had shifted. Pushed and reinforced pads to keep them from shifting. Also saw that unit was off Level and condenser could also rattle against the floor. Lifted and Leveled unit as best I could. Unit now has sufficient space for condenser in between both cabinet and floor. I did not hear any noise with condenser fan and compressor both running. All is now working as designed. Call complete.

REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRF555SDFZ11 Arrived onsite for refrigerator with frost in the FC upon inspection I found a small amount of frost build up in the front and on the roof of the FC consistent with air leak frost. I noticed that very intermittently the left side of the door can have a small gap in the gasket if closed softly. I accessed the rear panel of the unit to inspect the drain tube. I found the tube slightly separating from the frame of the unit which could also let air in to create frost. I used silicone to better seal the tube. I explained to the customer to shut the FC firmly with most force going forwards the middle of the door to ensure it closes all the way. The unit is working as designed at this time and no leaks detected during time of service. Job complete.

REFRIGERATOR JENN-AIR JFFCC72EFP02 "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator condensation/ice build up. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=-5 degrees and RC=53 degrees. I found a large block of ice on the RC evaporator. Attempted to remove the cover and due to the amount of ice I was unable to remove it. Pulled unit out and checked drain tube and found it clogged and gapped. I cleared the tube and reinstalled it and sealed the gap with silicone. I was able to get some of,the ice off of the evap cover and bottom of RC section. Advised customer that they would need to defrost the unit before I could complete repairs. I had the customer sign the waiver of damages from defrosting refrigerator and recommended that they place towels around the unit to absorb any water that may leak from the evaporator pan. Took photos of all tamale to unit and floor under unit. Wood floor below unit is buckling due to water leak from drain tube over flowing. Called tech line and spoke to Andrew #7729283540 to discuss rust issue and if repair can be made due to rust not allowing for proper seal around drain port and water dripping from around drain tube indicating water is in the insulation of the unit. Recommended just repairing sealed system and rust is not a concern. Installed new compressor, evaporator, stub and drier. Vacuumed system to clear and test for leaks. Charged with 5.5oz 134a and tested operation. Unit tests good. Instructed customer that the unit will take 24 hours to reach temps and 48 hours to make ice. Job complete"

I tested the pressures and found it at 30 psi when equalized indicating a possible leak. I found a leak in the center of the RC evaporator. I replaced the evaporator and dye drier. I ran a long vacuum and the system held a 30 psi vacuum. I charged the system with 5.50 ozs of R134A. I tested the unit and had good pressures and frost patterns on both coils. Call complete.

REFRIGERATOR KITCHENAID KRFF507ESS01 "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Due to the RC evaporator frosting over and the thermistor going bad, I removed and replaced the RC evap motor/harness, placed the thermistor on the suction line next to the weld and secured it with foil tape and ziptie. Using a clamp, I secured the evaporator to the back the unit on the left and right side. Placed two shims in between the evap cover and drip pan near the center to level the drip pan. Removed and replaced the hv control and tested the unit. Unit is beginning to cool and operate as designed. I recommended that the customer allow the unit 12 hours to cool and approximately 24 hours to begin to make ice. No water leaks observed during service.
