"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that still dispensing water as the ice dispenser is pushed. Inspected unit and work area. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Steve SR# 7731386425. He had me disconnect the water pedal from the user interface and test the unit. Found the unit not dispensing water when the ice paddle was pushed. As soon as the water pedal was connected to the user interface, found the water dispenser activated when the ice dispenser was pushed. He had advised that based on that information, the issue is with the water bottle and having a shorted wire.. Ordering the paddle and will return with a Control. Office will need to contact the customer about a refund for the difference between the original quote.. ; ordrng 1 W10317253 (pad)"

Placed my gauges on the compressor and drier and monitored pressures. I found the pressures equalized. Cycled power to the unit and monitored pressures again and found them out of range. Arrived onsite for dryer not heating. Upon inspection I confirmed the complaint. I accessed the terminal block and found the L1 wire on the power cord burned in half. I found the damage affected the terminal block on that L1 side. I replaced the terminal block and advised the power cord would not be covered under warranty. The customer agreed so I replaced the cord and tested the unit. The customer advised me that the timer does not advance most likely from the power cord failure shorting the timer. I replaced the timer and tested the unit. The unit is working as designed at this time. Job complete.

Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the water dispenser worked for about a day then went back to intermittent dispensing. I inspected the left door hinge that was recently replaced and it is operating as designed. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the water dispenser and door switches in tests 73, 74, & 96 and all tests passed. I found the UI display, located on the side of the left RC door, had digits missing. I contacted techline and spoke to Austin and advised of my findings and Austin advised to replace the main UI on the front of the left RC door and the UI on the side of the door. "Arrived on site for a cooktop causing the breaker to pop. Upon arrival the customer stated they had an electrician here, and he isolated it to the cooktop. Every time the unit sparked, it would cause the breaker to pop. Upon further inspection at the breaker, I found the breaker jammed and slightly pressing the GFCI reset button. Once this was adjusted, the cooktop began running as designed. I checked voltage at the wall and found it good. I gained access to the inside of the unit and found all harnesses good and nothing grounding out. I ran the unit for over 5-10 minutes and it never popped the breaker. I found the unit itself working as designed. I did also find two burner caps swapped, I advised the customer on the importance of them being on the correct burner head.

Removed water filter and water dispenser is now working properly, ran test 45 and icemaker filled up correctly. Either water filter needs to be replaced or housing has gone bad. Recommended to homeowner that water filter we tried first and if this does not correct issue a new housing will need to be brought back. Also found and airgap in the freezer used steamer to remove all frost around door and rails but there is a large amount ice build up in the rear of the freezer, took one picture. Entire freezer will need to be defrosted for 72 hours to remove the ice. Customer is aware of how to manage the melting ice, and will defrost the refrigerator when they are ready, job complete"

"Arrived on site for a dryer making a loud noise. Upon arrival I tested the unit and immediately heard a loud screech and clank. I gained access to the inside of the unit and found the motor had fallen off track, which pushed back the blower wheel. This was causing the blower wheel to rub against the blower housing, which created the noise. I re-seated the motor and strapped it down with its metal clamps. I then tested the unit for several minutes and the noise was no longer present. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for fridge not cooling properly I inspected the unit and work area. I did a temp test on the fresh food section and found it cooling at 39 degrees. I did a temp test in the freezer and found it only getting to 14 degrees. I gained access to the compressor and found it hot to the touch and pulling 1.4 amps. I gained access to the control and put the unit through a forced defrost. I found the defrost heater coming on and working as designed. I tested all thermistors and found them with in range. I spoke to the customer about needing a sealed system to repair the fridge.
