DISHWASHER MAYTAG MDB4621AWB0 Arrived on site for dishwasher not turning on. Upon further inspection of the unit I found that the reason the unit was not turning on was due to the main control board protective thermal fuse that keeps it from overheating had broken. I did find that the unit was receiving 120 V but due to the fuse breaking the main board was not receiving any of that power. I then replace the thermal fuse and was able to read some of the unit and test and verify that everything is now functioning as designed at the unit Phils drains and agitates as needed.

WASHER MAYTAG MAH4000AWW Arrived onsite for washer making loud noise during operation and not spinning clothes in correct timeframe. Upon inspection I found that while in spin the washer makes a very loud scratchy rumble sound consistent with a failed bearing. I also found the boot warped and very dirty/grimy causing water to pool in the front. I recommended a full tub job replacing the outer tub and bearing assembly along with the boot. I removed and replaced the lid and tested the unit all functions passed. The customer brought to my attention a clicking nose when you push down on the drum. I lifted the whole top panel of the unit and then couldnt recreate the noise. I reassembled and tried to recreate the noise but could not. Job complete.

Upon inspection I found a stored error code for the inlet valve mechanically stuck open. I was able to see the valve weeping slightly before I started the diagnostics cycle. As I was running the diagnostics cycle I found water started to drip out the front. I found a excessive amount of suds foamed up in the tub causing the water leak. I ran water through and drained the soap suds about 4 times and explained to the customer the importance of using liquid detergent at small amounts for optimal performance and to reduce soap suds building. Due to the valve weeping at the start I recommended replacing the valve. they agreed to the repair so I replaced the inlet valve and tested the unit. REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRS325SDHZ01 "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator noises. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit fan gets very loud and the fan is always on. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the condenser sun and the FC evaporator fan and both were making normal noises. I found that when the condenser fan is on, the condenser coils are rattling at the front of the unit. I removed the toeplate and found debris covering the condenser coil. I advised the customer of my findings and advised that the coils need to be cleaned and this is why they hear the fan on all the time. I cleared the debris and using some permagum and sealant (4318168) from my van stock, I placed it in between the condenser coil and the bar at the bottom of the unit to stop the rattling noise. Tested unit again and unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
