REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL ED5LVAXWQ00 "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the bottom FC=-17 and top FC=43; RC=48. Removed the FC evap cover and found the evap fan motor not working. I could hear it humming and I forced the blades to turn and it came on. I pulled the unit out and found the compressor and condenser fan not operating. Unplugged the unit and plugged back in and when the start device kicked on the compressor showed 17amps and then the start device clicked again and compressor turned off. Tested windings to compressor and its within range/good. Removed and replaced the start device and retested and unit is operating as designed. Found at the control test the fresh foods control was not lit up like the freezer side. Removed the control panel and found the optic tube had come unattached. Reattached the tube and tested and it is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed"

Checked burners and found all the igniter electrodes were covered up with tinfoil. Cut away tinfoil on all the igniters and retested. Unit now lights properly. Spark was just arcing to the tinfoil and not hitting the gas.

I found soap residue built up on the bellow and in the drain pump. I cleared it out and the bellow started to drain properly. I ran a diagnostics cycle and found the unit sudding up with no soap. I spoke to the customer about running a tub clean cycle with a cup of vinegar, twice. Job complete no water leaks detected.

DRYER WHIRLPOOL WED49STBW1 "Arrived on site to inspect dryer not drying on more dry selection. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit on all cycles and the unit is operating as designed. Using my vent test kit, I placed the vent testing card at the back right vent and tested the unit on Air Dry for 15 seconds and the card never fell off the hook. Tested 2 more times and got the same results. I removed the vent tube at the back of the unit and retested on the same settings and the test card fell off the hook at the vent. Customer had someone house sitting them and I advised them of my findings. I contacted the customer via cell phone and advised of my findings and recommended getting the vents checked/cleaned. No lint observed during service, job completed."
