Found no damage to chassis and no noticible failures in the door or interlocks. If you push the door closed or close firmly it usually does start. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator making a loud noise. Upon further inspection I found the cardboard base under the unit was vibrating against the sealed system and creating a loud vibration. I installed some sound pads under the unit to help dampen the noise. I also found that then the toe plate was pushed closer to the chassis it made less noise. I zip tied the toe plate to be tight against the chassis and found the noise almost went away completely. I informed the customer of my findings. I let her know that the noise should be reduced, but may not 100% go away. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect range oven temps. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they had their 1 year inspection and was told the oven temps were off more than 25 degrees. Customer provided written report from inspector and they used a thermometer to test temps. I advised the customer that its stated in the owners manual to not use a thermometer to test temps. Using my multimeter, I placed my thermal lead in the middle of the center rack and tested temps on Bake at 350 degrees. My preheat temp was 348 degrees. My peak temp was 370 and the unit averaged out to 356 degrees as it never changed temps after preheat. While testing temps, I tested the cooktop and found the front left burner not igniting properly. I found the ignitor was not seated correctly and I adjusted the ignitor and retested it and retested and unit is operating as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

Arrived on site for a washing machine thats not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F8 E1 (low/no water detected during fill) error code. Tested both valves and both checked good. Check the drain hose and found that the drain hose was draining into a pipe that only sits 9 inches off the ground. I did advise the customer that during bigger loads that the unit is essentially siphoning water down the drain pump as it attempting to fill causing this error code. Advise the customer that they would need to fix their drain pipe to sit at least 3 1/2 feet high. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not finishing out cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed the customers complaint and ran the unit through diagnostics. Found an F7 E1 (basket speed fault) and F7 E6 (motor fault) error codes. I ran the unit through manual high speed span and agitation testing and found the unit buzzing but not moving. Replace the main control and tested the unit. Still have the same issue. Check voltage going from the main control to the motor and found proper voltage during agitation in span. Spoke to PRN ohm to cross the motor windings. Was advised that the motor was fine with the readings found (2.5 k ohms). Use the truck stock capacitor to make sure that the issue was not with the capacitor. Was advised the issue would have to be with the motor. Ordering motor and control again and the office will need to reschedule the customer due to out of stock and PSP items.; ordrng 1 W11497303 (Motor) and 1 W11498797 (Control)

Checked voltage going to the motor and found 120 V. Replaced the icemaker and tested the unit again. Found the unit completely harvesting but not filling with water. Checked the valve and found the valve showing proper voltage. Checked the water dispenser and found the water dispenser not dispensing water. Removed the filter and added a bypass cap in the filter head. Found water immediately starting to run from the water dispenser. Jumped across my line voltage to the valve on the icemaker and found water flowing freely into the icemaker. Advised the customer that they needed a new filter for the unit prior to using the ice maker. Call complete.

Upon further inspection I found the start device would click and the compressor would kick on, but would shut off roughly 2-4 seconds later. This would cycle and continue to happen. This indicates a faulty start device. I installed the new start device, but the issue continued. I checked amp draw and found it hitting 15 but very quickly dropping to 8. I pulled the unit out and tested ohms to the bake (28ohms) and broil (17ohms) elements. Both were within range. I tested voltage to the bake element while in Bake mode and its getting 240V. I inspected the bake element and it is good. I tested the oven on Bake at 340 degrees and at preheat my temp,reading was 340 degrees. Temps held in the 340 range not getting higher than 345. I found the control is discontinued. I advised my customer of the temp readings and they were good with it being close to preheat. Cooktop is operating as designed as well. Arrived on site for refrigerator that has a defrost issue. Inspected unit and work area. Checked the heater and harness for continuity and resistance and found both to be within range and working. Checked the evaporator thermistor and found it reading 3.2 k ohms. I called whirlpool Techline and spoke to Bruce SR# 7732843612. He had me check both of those readings for the heater and thermistor through the main control and found proper resistance on both. He then advised the only other issue could be with him the main control. Replaced both evaporator thermistor and control and tested the unit. The unit began to cooling operate as designed. Advise the customer to call back if any other issues persist.

"Arrived on site for oven not heating properly. I spoke to the customer and found out he is using a metal thermometer in the oven. I used my thermal kcouple, and preformed a temp test on the oven. I set it to bake at 350 and found during preheat the unit gets too 388. I let the unit cycle and found it cycling between 345 and 365 degrees maintaining a 350 average. I spoke to the customer about the unit, and the type of thermometer to use in the oven. Job complete."

Arrived on site for a dryer that was making a loud noise. I tested the unit and found a loud rattle coming from the blower wheel area. I gained access to the blower housing and found that the collar assembly between the blower wheel and vent assembly had popped out of place. This was allowing it to flap around and cause a metal on metal rattle. I popped it back in and then tested the unit. The unit was no longer making any abnormal noise. I verified with the customer that the noise was good.

I found the burner caps were not properly seated causing the ignitor to not be able to arc against the cap. I adjusted the burners/caps and retested and the unit is operating as designed.
