DISHWASHER FRIGIDAIRE FFBD2406NS2A Arrived on site for a dishwasher thats giving off a weird smell. Inspected unit and work area. Ran unit through an auto test in the unit ran as designed. Noticed a foul odor coming from the dishwasher. Checked underneath the sink and found the drain hose going downhill from the garbage disposal back into the dishwasher. I advise the customer that their issue is primarily with the drain hose. The customer advised that they do not use their dishwasher ever and that they primarily and wash their dishes. I advise them to run a bleach cycle inside the dishwasher and then a normal cycle without any soap or dishes again after that. I did advise them to adjuster drain hose to go above their garbage disposal to avoid further issues. Call complete.

REFRIGERATOR ELECTROLUX EI32AF65JS1 Arrived on site for refrigerator needing a previously diagnosed sealed system including but not limited to the compressor and youll be dryer. Upon arrival I was able to inspect and verify the previous diagnosis was correct I then installed the system equipment that was needed and was able to pull a vacuum to clear out the interior of the system for 20 minutes and then was able to make sure that there are no pressure leaks and the unit passed a push and pull test as well. I then was able to charge the unit up to 3 1/2 ounces of our 134A as recommended by factory sticker. And then reassembled and tested to verify there are no leaks of any kind and inform the customer that it will take 24 hours for temperatures to stabilize. Call complete

Upon arrival I disassemble the unit and was able to verify after multiple back to back test at the motor itself was not the leak or caused the leak and that all previously repaired items were working as designed I did however find that the leak was not a matter of an immediate hardware failure so much as an overtime soap related hardware failure due to the fact that the door gasket and sweep seal were starting to corrode due to age and when the soap may contact it would lubricate the ceiling light water to pass through all over the floor. After getting authorization from the office and American home shield I was able to replace the door gasket as well as the door sweep and reassembled and tested the unit verify that the door seal on sweeper not showing any signs of further leaking or issues unit now functioning as designed call complete.

DRYER WHIRLPOOL WED4815EW1 "Arrived on site for DOES NOT ALWAYS DRY, NOT SOAKING WET BUT TAKES MULTIPLE CYCLES- CHECKED VENTS Ran temps with thermocouple and read a low heat of 109 and a high heat of 212. Upon arrival I noticed the timer was set to automatic dry and low heat. Explained to customer this cycle will turn off once it senses items are dry in the dryer whether the temperature is set to low, medium, or high. This also means if heavy items such as towels were inside with shirts the towels will still be damp. The dryer senses the shirts are dry and turns off before the towels had a chance to fully dry. With this, I recommended the customer use timed dry for heavier objects such as towels, sheets, comforters, and especially mixed loads. WASHER WHIRLPOOL WFW8620HC1 Arrived onsite to make sure customer was using the unit correctly because there safe some concerns. Upon inspection I found the unit had stored error codes of F5E0 F0E2 and F0E1. I found the unit to shake violently at the start of the spin cycle then level out. While in high spin the unit sounds like its scratching or consistent with a failing bearing. I pulled the back panel away from the rotor and inspected the rotor and stator. I did not find any breaks on the stator or rust on the components. I did find evidence of something spraying on the inner back panel of the unit but I can not identify the substance. I ran the test again with the panel removed and found the noise to be coming from the center of the tub/rotor stator. The unit will need a tub replacement for repair to get the unit back to optimal working condition.
