Placed an in-service diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Ran unit through an auto test and confirmed customer complaint with the upper wash arm spraying but the lower wash arm not moving. Ran water through the arm at the sink and found the lower holes clogged inside the wash arm. Debris could not be removed. Replace lower out wash arm and tested unit. Unit is now working as designed. Upon arrival I ran a continuity in Om resistance test on the bake element broil element and Thursday and found the bake element itself filled both tests and after further inspection I found the control board was sending the full 240 V but because of the bake element being broken it was not pretty right then replace the bake element and reasonable to test the unit and verified that it would heat to 350° as designed. Unit sounded a little different but made a similar noise. Found wash plate spinning but the basket skipping slower than that agitator. Pushed down on the basket on both sides and found the basket wobbling on the spline. Attempted to remove agitator and found the agitator completely seized onto the gear case. Basket appears to be completely stripped from the spline. Unit will need a complete rebuild for repair. If authorization is given for repair, office will need to contact customer about reschedule date due to multiple out of stock and PSP items. DRYER WHIRLPOOL WED4800XQ1 Arrived on site for dryer taking to long to dry. Upon arrival I disconnected the venting and used a thermostat to check temperature fluctuations during timed dry cycle. I found it kept a good 160 degree average for a consistent amount of time. I then reconnected venting and found dryer would stop heating shortly after reconnection. I explained to the customer hat within the venting of the house itself there was lint clogging the air flow path and not allowing dryer to vent out the heat. Informed customer that they need to get a dryer vent cleaning down in order to repair unit. Call complete. Dryer is functioning as designed.

Using my multimeter, I placed my thermal lead in the middle of the center rack and tested temps on Bake at 350 degrees. At preheat, my temp reading was 279 degrees and the max temp was 305 degrees. I place the unit in diagnostics and checked the temp reading and the display was showing 390 degrees. I tested the sensor and it was within range at room temp. I removed and replaced the lower oven sensor and main control and retested. Unit is operating as designed. Job completed."

Upon further inspection, I tested the unit on Bake at 350 degrees and the ignitor failed to come on and I could hear the control relay clicking. I tested ohms to the ignitor and found it open also found the ignitor element broken. I removed and replaced the ignitor and retested and the ignitor continued to fail I found the new ignitor element was cracked. I tested voltage at the control and when the relay would come on I got 124V but then I could hear the relay click again and no voltage going to the ignitor. I watched the cavity where the OWI sensor and drain is housed and found that water was coming up from the drain. I removed the hose at the drain pump and inspected the check valve. The valve was sealing good. I asked the customer to run the R/O system while the drain hose disconnected. I found that the hose would drip when the R/O system was used. I advised to get the system rerouted away from the drain hose. In the event of a callback please send drain hose. Job complete.

Customer advised that when he called the unit in for repair, he was told to unplug the unit and he did and the noise went away after plugging it back in. Customer advised that they have been finding ice build up at the opening of the freezer door. When I opened the FC door, I found a small piece of ice at the top of the FC section at the opening near the light switch. I checked the FC door gasket and found it gapped at the top right center area of the gasket. I placed a piece of sticky foam under the gasket to push the gasket out towards the chassis and using my heat gun, I heated the gasket and reshaped it so that it would mold to the chassis and close the gap for a temporary fix. Due to the FC evaporator defrost thermistor failing and the evap cover insulation breaking, I removed and replaced the evap,motor harness and positioned the defrost thermistor properly on the suction line with foil tape and ziptie. Removed and replaced the evap cover. Per service pointer #W11092686F, I removed and replaced the RC evap motor/harness and placed the thermistor on the suction line securing it with foil tape and ziptie and secured the evaporator to the back of the cabinet with clamps and zipties. Removed and replaced the hv control and checked the drain tube and using silicone I sealed the gap between the tube and chassis. Tested unit and it began to cool. Recommended that the customer give the unit at least 12 hours to fully cool and at least 24 hours for ice to produce. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
