REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRX986SIHZ00 Arrived on site for fridge not reaching set temperatures. I inspected the unit and work area. I spoke to th customer and he stated back in November another company came out and installed a uv dryer into the system. I gained access to the compressor and found a UV dryer. I hooked my gauges up and found the system low and refrigerant. I evacuated the system and gained access to the rc evaporator. I found dye at the suction tube under the thermistor. I replaced the evaporator and secured the thermistor to the evaporator with a zip tie and foil tape. I pulled a vacuum on the system and found no leaks. I put a measured charge into the system and found pressure building and holding as designed. Job complete.

I found water damage to the cabinet baseboards to the left and right of the unit (photos). Placed unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. I found the unit leaking at the valve and was a slow leak. Canceled diagnostics and removed the unit from the cabinet space and found more water damage on the wall behind the unit and on the sides of the cabinets (photos). I removed the valve and found the connection from hose to valve not secured and the hose to its connector was rusted (photo). Using Teflon tape, I sealed the connection from valve elbow to the hose and tightened. Retested the unit and it is operating as designed with no further leaks. DISHWASHER WHIRLPOOL WDF520PADM7 "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher upper rack. Upon further inspection, customer advised that the upper rack right stop continues to fall off. I inspected the stop, rail, and rack and found no damage. I did find that the stop wasnt latched to the rail correctly. I adjusted the stop and tested and when I pushed the rack back into the tub, I noticed the stop latch had popped off the rail when it hit the rail rollers. I contacted techline and spoke to Joel and advised of the complaint and my findings. He advised to put the rear non-removable stops on the front and provided file #7730106203. I removed and replaced the stops with non-removable stops and demonstrated to the customer on how to remove and install the stops in case they wanted to remove the upper rack. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL KRFF707ESS01 "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, customer advised that the unit was operating fine then just stopped making ice. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the ice maker in test 56 and found no error codes. Checked the ice maker and found no ice in the tray. I found the fill tube was frozen. Tested the fill tube heater in test 19 and found 124V. Left the fill tube heater test on to allow the fill tube to defrost. Ohmed the heater and it was within range. Tested the IM in test 57, 58, 59 and it passed. Once the fill tube defrosted, I test3d the fill tube in test 45 and the tray filled. I recommended that the customer allow the ice maker to work through the weekend and contact the office if it continues to fail. I advised that the ice maker controls the fill tube heater and it could be the ice maker failing. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

WASHER WHIRLPOOL MVWB835DC5 "Arrived on site for a washing machine that has several codes flashing on it. Inspected unit and work area. Placed in in-service diagnostics and found an F7E0 (loss of power), F3 E1 (pressure system fault), F0 E3 (overload), ad F0 E5 (Off balance load). The customer had the unit filled with a quilted blanket and several other needed blankets. Went to remove the blankets and found one of them completely shredded inside the washer and little bits of the blanket lining the entire underside of the basket and all over the blankets. I called tech line and spoke to Kathy SR # 7730103998. She advised that based on the findings that she would go ahead and replace the main control but that the issue appeared to be the loading and over sudsing of this unit. S. Replaced main control and tested unit. Unit is now working as designed. Call complete."

Customer advised that the unit was cooling the refrigerator section but not the freezer section. Tested temperature in the refrigerator section and found it at 40°F. Tested the unit in the freezer section and found the unit at 66°F. Unit is completely empty. Checked both evaporators for defrost issues and found none. Tested the unit in service diagnostics and checked both their misters. Both are misters showed as passing. Tested the unit and service test for on the compressor on both compartments. All fans are running properly and both evaporator is built up are good frost pattern. I check the resistance he values of the thermistor themselves and both of them were spot on with their temperature readings. I called Techline and spoke to Scott SR# 7730096619.
