Arrived on site for a dishwasher throwing an F2E2 error code. Upon arrival the unit was throwing the code. Due to this the UI was unresponsive to anything. Cycling the power to the unit did not change anything. I gained access to the control and unplugged the UI from the control. I then plugged the unit back in and waited roughly 10 seconds. Once I closed the door the drain pump kicked on. This built in test per tech sheet indicates a faulty UI. I am ordering the UI and will return to install.

"Arrived on site for a dryer that is not completing cycles during autho sensing dry cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit was eating even on air fluff. Tested the heater and found heater good. Replaced the cycling thermostat. Tested the unit again and found the unit cycling properly and not heating on air fluff but the timer still not advancing. Spoke to SW and ran a couple checks through the sensor and found the sensor working properly. Replace the timer and tested the unit. Still could not detect the timer advancing. Was advised again that there could be an issue with the moisture sensor and to replace that. Replaced the moisture sensor and test the unit again.The customer let the unit run for an hour and the unit still would not advance. I called whirlpool Techline and spoke to Sterling SR# 7731309114. He advised that I needed to check the yellow and red wires at the electronic control to chase ground. If I had an open line, the sensor is good. He then advised to check the orange and white to tan white for 120 V. Then check orange and white to black and white to see if I have 120 V. If I have 120 V at the orange and white to tan and white but don?t have 120 V from orange and white to black and white, the issue is with the control. If I have both at 120 V, the issue would be with the wiring harness. Arrived on site for range not allowing top burner functions to any burners. Upon arrival I verified complaint and found burners not working. Also inspected power from main controls to infinite switchs was fully present with 240v. Found after testing switchs that all 4 infinite switchs are burnt up and not allowing proper voltage readings. Also found all 4 burners and receptacles completely caked in grease and other debri. In order to complete repairs we will need new 4 new burners as well as all infinite switchs and possibly 4 receptacles. "Arrived onsite for unit making a gurgling noise when you open the doors and then shut them. Tested the unit. Opened the doors and shut the door and heard a gurgling noise coming from where the compressor and fan are. Noticed the fans were not running. Unplugged the unit for about a min. Plugged unit back in and had doors open to get some warm air in the unit for the fans and compressor kick on, after a few min, all fans and compressor was working. Opened the doors and tested the unit for the noise and noise didn?t return. Called tech line, said that there no service pointers for the current issue. Said there is nothing at this time to recommend since the unit is working as designed. Spoke with leon, got sr#7731304312"

Due to the RC evap motor harness with thermistor being bad, I removed and replaced the motor/harness and secured the thermistor to the suction line with foil tape and ziptie. Also, due to the FC light and waterbox lights not working, I removed and replaced the modules and tested and found they continue to fail. Tested the LED control and found it not providing voltage to the modules. Removed and replaced the control and retested and unit is operating as designed. I power cycled the unit and the unit began working as designed. I asked the customer if they were hooked up to Wi-Fi and she advised that they were not. Attempted to cook the customer up to Wi-Fi myself but her Appliance was not connecting to the Wi-Fi. Gave her the Whirlpool Wi-Fi service number and the unit is working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived onsite and found unit operating with door not engaging switch properly. Provided door shim to correct switch contact for proper switch engagement. All checks good. Unit is now operating as designed.

Arrived on site for JUST STOPPED MID CYCLE. RESET THE BREAKER BUT STILL NO LIGHTS OR ACTION. Found UI had no lights when pressing options. Unplugged dishwasher and inspected junction box and found neutral wire not seated inside wire nut. Removed wire nut from hard wire and used wire nut to connect wires properly. Dishwasher came on. Placed in diagnostics and no error codes came on. Ran through diagnostics and completed all cycles as designed. Element heating as designed. No leaks detected.

"Arrived on site and inspected refrigerator and found homeowner feels middle door rails are difficult to open. Replaced both rails and force required to open drawer is better but new rails are also warm. If after rails cool to refrigerator temp they are the same as the original and this would be considered normal and no other adjustments can be made, I also stepped through all possible noises in the diagnostic cycle and everything sounds fine. "Arrived on site for a dishwasher leaking out of the front. I installed the clear door and then ran a test cycle on the unit. I found the lower spray arm not rotating, causing the water to build up and leak from the front of the unit. Per tech sheet I ohmd out the fuses and triacs at the control. I found them under 3 ohms. Per tech sheet this indicated a good control and a bad motor not allowing the arm to turn. I installed the sump and motor and then tested the unit with the clear door again. The same issue occurred. Due to this I am ordering the control and the lower spray arm to be installed. We will bring back the clear door in order to verify repair. I called techline and they directed me to the TOD located behind the lower blower fan. I found the TOD open and not allowing voltage to pass. I replaced the TOD and tested the unit. "Arrived on site to diagnose warming drawer that is not running. On arrival found voltage at unit, but nothing happening with any dials or buttons. I found the insulation was getting crispy, and when i checked the wiring I found several wires had starting melting to the lid and plastic for the tech sheet holder. Found a couple bubbles in wire as well. Wiring is getting too hot due to a failed harness.

Arrived onsite and installed the drain pump to repair. Unit is now operating as designed. Advised customer on repair.

"Arrived on site inspected refrigerator and found ice box is 20? and freezer is showing 8?, took pictures. Only one batch of ice has been made in the past 24 hours. Test 56 shows E0, Test 15 is good, test 36 is good, test 57 is good, Icemaker is full of water. Spoke with techline and they recommended checking thermistor reading on control board. Thermistor is showing 20k, Techline recommended inspecting Thermistor this reading is correct but overall temperature is still high. Disassembled freezer and found thermistor is encased in an ice ball, removed all ice repositioned Thermistor and took multiple pictures. If this happens again tech line will need to be called again7731303007"

Arrived onsite for unit not making ice. Looked at the ice maker and saw that a pile of ice had built up under the ice maker and blocking the arm. Removed ice and waited to see if the ice maker would?ve dump out the ice in the tray. Ice maker was not working. Replaced ice maker. Ice maker started working and putting water in the tray. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker overflowing with water and no water being dispensed at water dispenser. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the water dispenser doesnt work. I removed the recently replaced filter and found it be an after market filter. Placed a filter bypass in the filter head and tested the water dispenser and found the water would dispense then it stopped. Customer advised that the water is turned off at the wall. Turned the water back on and retested and water dispenser is operating as designed. I placed the filter back in the filter head and retested and it continues to operate as designed. I inspected the ice maker and found the fill tube chute full of ice. Removed the ice maker and removed the ice to find a small piece of debris inside the chute that caused the fill tube to collect water and freeze. I placed the ice maker back into place and tested and it is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to follow up on induction cooktop that does not appear to be heating properly. Prior to arrival I had been informed by the customer that the unit is cycling a lot more often and taking longer periods of time to heat and boil water then it had prior to the recent failure. I called and spoke with tech line again to request guidance on how we can proceed with testing. Customer pointed out that things were taking much longer then before, and that when multiple elements were being used it was much slower. Tech line had me check the bottoms of the pots to see if they were concave, and I found one of the pots was a bit more curved then the others. Tech line advised that this causes the modules to overwork and fail. We tested several burners, and ran items with both lower elements running as well as the center element with a different pot. We were able to get items to heat, but it only moves fast if the unit is set to boost. The pots heated on the left side module appear to heat faster then the right, and that unit will constantly cycle if multiple elements are set to boost. After several conversations with tech line reps, these behaviors are considered normal, and not a sign of failure. The tech line directions are to run one element on boost to boil before moving to others and reducing heat once it does, and when multiple elements are running they will share power. If 2+ elements are running the unit seems to run much slower.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine throwing some error codes. Upon arrival the customer stated that when they wash towels it will throw an F9E1 and SUD error codes. However, when she does normal clothes it will run through fine. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F9E1 for Long Drain, F8E3 for overflow condition, F3E1 for water level sensor error, and F5E2 for door lock error. I cleared the error codes. I then ran a test cycle and it filled as designed, but did have excess suds in the unit. During the drain cycle it ran several minutes to long. I found that the customer uses two additional cleaning agents/fabric softeners that they do not use on regular clothes, but on towels. I gained access to the pressure hose and air trap. I blew threw the hose and found suds. I also found significant gunk build up in the air trap. I cleaned the air trap out and then put it back on the unit. I cleared the suds from the tube. I then ran it through diagnostics and it ran through as designed. I advised the customer to no longer use those soaps, and to run a clean cycle regularly on the unit. I advised her until she runs a clean cycle she may still experience the issue, due to left over suds and soap residue. The unit is working as designed. No leaks observed at the time of service. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for range smell/ odor when in use. Upon arrival unplugged for inspection. Checked entire wiring harness and components. Did not find anything visible. Powered unit and tested. After about 25 minutes there was an odor. Tested elements and pulled hidden element from rear. No visible issues and all components are functioning correctly. At this time cannot trace source of odor and all functions are working properly. Unit is functioning as designed. Job complete

"Arrived on site and inspected washer and found actuator arm is out of cam kit ring. Reset actuator and used a tie to hold it in place. it this happens again a new actuator, pressure hose, and control board will be needed to correct the issue. Job complete"

"Arrived on site to diagnose washer that had a small leak and did not fully spin out clothes a couple of times. I checked the unit for errors and found no errors present. I ran a diagnostic cycle and found when the bleach dispenser is sprayed with water, it seems to leak over a tiny bit. When I ran the unit in high speed spin. I could see a slight wobble in the basket at higher rpms. I removed the washplate and found the hub was loose on the gearcase shaft, allowing the basket to tilt slightly. The unit did not sound abnormally noisy, but was slightly louder then average. I did not hear any screeching or grinding. Ordering hub, and also a bleach dispenser to correct the leak if its not due to the vibrations. ordrng 1 W10820039 (Hub kit) and 1 WPW10554110 (Bleach dispenser)"

"Arrived on site and inspected washer and found customer is experiencing lid lock not engaging in the beginning a cycle. At this time the lock is working properly started 2 normal cycles and locked and unlocked it several times in diagnostic. Will need to bring back control board, lock, and lid and replace everything to ensure repair on a second visit.; ordrng 1 W11259006 (Lid) and 1 W10810403 (Latch) and 1 W11162440 (Control board)"

Arrived onsite for dishwasher leaving white residue on dishes. Upon inspection I found no error codes stored in the unit. I ran diagnostics and found that all functions passed and are working as designed including the heater element which had a 8.9 amp draw at start then decreased as the element cooled. I found the unit to be over sudsing and the customer is using pods while having a in home water softener installed. I advised the customer on proper soap usage while on a softener and how it affects cleaning results. No leaks detected during time of service. Job complete.

Arrived on site and inspected dishwasher and found loose connection control board. After resetting it power has returned and dishwasher will complete a diagnostic cycle. Informed apartment maintenance that all cabinetry around dishwasher is crooked and partially broken. Installation of dishwasher is as good as it Can be. Job complete

Arrived on site to diagnose cooktop that customer said is not heating properly on big burner. Ran unit and did not see any visible issues and burner is hot. Checked wiring and found connector slightly loose. Tightened and verified all is working as designed. Call complete.
