Customer ran through a normal wash cycle and the unit agitated as designed when the unit was switching from a wash into the rents and was doing the spin prior to filling for the rinse, the unit made three knocking sounds as it was slowing down. Test of the unit several other times and had a similar result. I called Techline and spoke to Leon SR# 7729756725. He advised the issue was probably with the splutch assembly or the belt. Replaced the splotch assembly and tested unit. Unit began spinning and slowing down without a knocking noise. Unit is now working as designed. Call complete."

Upon arrival I disassembled the icemaker and found that the truck was completely solid and frozen with ice indicating that the valve had been leaking into the icemaker on its own. I checked water pressure to the fridge everything checked out OK and then when ahead and replace the water inlet valve as well as the icemaker because the ice and also formed around the teeth causing the motor to get stuck then reassembled and tested the unit and verified that unit is not functioning as designed and water valve is no longer weeping into the icemaker. DISHWASHER KITCHENAID KDTM404KPS0 "Arrived on site for a dishwasher with UI acting up. Upon arrival customer stated unit would not start at all, the buttons would not work, and the clean light would flash on and off. He also stated they had several plumbers out and one replaced a valve and the other cycled the breaker. Upon further inspection I found UI working properly and unit would start up as normal. I entered diagnostics mode and ran test cycle and it ran as designed. I checked error codes and found stored error codes F8E4 for an open float switch. I gained access to float switch and found a lot of water in pan. I explained to customer that whoever installed it probably did not thread water line to inlet valve correctly allowing for water to get into pan, and one of the plumbers probably re-threaded it correctly so it would no longer leak. Then it dried up enough to start running again. I dried out rest of water and ohmd out the switch, switch read good. Unit working as designed

Deli drawer you I would still not illuminate. I called Techline and spoke to Bruce SR# 7729650042. He advised that with the water damage done to the deli UI, we needed to replace the pantry door due to issues with corrosion in the wiring or shorts in electrical wiring. He also mentioned to replace the deli harness, and bring a power supply board and LED power supply board in case further parts are needed. He said any one of those components could be causing this issue. Ordering parts and office will need to contact extended warranty for authorization and contact customer for return visit if authorization is given due to psp items. I checked the main control and found the sensor connector fully plugged in. Tested the sensor and its within range. Pulled the unit out and removed the back panel and unit is showing 245V at the terminal block. Tested the sensor at the harness connection and it is within range. Unplugged unit and waited approximately 30 seconds and plugged back in.
