"Arrived on site to inspect washer noises. Upon further inspection, the customer thought the noise might be from a loose belt. I advised the customer that the unit does not have a belt, but has a rotor, stator and clutch. From what the customer was describing, it sounds like the drain hose is tapping against the wall or back of the unit during the spin cycle. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F0E3-overload. Cleared the code and continued with testing. During spin cycle, I could hear a rattling noise that sounded like it was coming from the drain pump area and the customer advised that it was the noise theyve been hearing. I tilted the unit back and removed the drain hose thats connected to the bottom of the tub to the drain pump and found a broken drill bit inside (photo). Cleared the remaining water from the tub and drain tub and inspected the drain pump and found it was clear and in good operational standing. I re-attached the hose to the pump and secured it (photo) and retested the unit. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. No parts installed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher heating element issues and door not latching. Upon further inspection, I found the door would not close and the element bushings were deteriorating (photo). I verified the unit was covered under warranty by the manufacturer for the faulty element per Service Pointer W11540964 and removed and replaced the element. When I went to close the unit door to test, I found the door was hitting the upper rack due to a bowl blocking the upper spray arm manifold from locking into the manifold at the back of the unit. Moved the bowl and closed the door and tested the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. Unit is operating as designed with no water leaks. Job completed. W11537778"

"Arrived on site to inspect washer leaking water from underneath. Upon further inspection, I found a small amount of water in the grout line at the front left corner of the unit (photo). I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error codes F0E3-overload. Cleared the code and tested the unit and it operated as designed and no leaks were found. With the water on the floor at the front left corner, I tilted the unit back and inspected under the unit and found no signs of a leak on the left front corner of the cabinet or tub assembly (photos). I found dry water streaks on the right side at the front corner (photo). I placed the unit down and manually retested the valve and tested the softener cup several times and still no leaks found. I recommended the customer monitor the unit and if they find a leak again to document the size of load and how much water they find. The unit is currently operating as designed. "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not turning on. Upon further inspection, the customer advised they have trouble shot the unit as far as cycling the breaker, plugging the unit into a different outlet and plugging the disposal into the dishwasher outlet and finding the disposal works. After researching the parts breakdown and questioning in house support and talking with the customer, I found the unit junction box is located under the sink (photo) and removed the cover to find the neutral wire nut was melted. Removed the nut and found the waitress were not correctly secured/connected and shorted. I re-wired the neutral harness and checked the remaining harness to find they were the same. I re-wired the harness and tested the unit and it is operating as designed with no error codes. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. No parts installed."

I checked the shifter and found the shifter was properly shifting it between agitation and spin, but found that the gear case had dropped, causing the issue. "Arrived on site to test unit for F9E1 error code. Removed drain pump connector and activated drain pump to check voltage, pump is not receiving any voltage. Ohmd back into the pump, got an initial reading of 20ohms. All signs indicate drain pump has a broken wire causing it to not engage. Replaced main harness (W11590868) and control (W11543994). Entered diagnostics and activated drain pump, pump activated for a split second then the console went black and all power ceased. Drain pump shorted the control. Replaced drain pump (W11399437). Inspected old pump and found a hairline crack in the wet side, when water was reintroduced into that crack the pump shorted all the way up to the control. Will need to order a new control for return visit. Ordering part, rescheduled for 07/08.; ordrng 1 W11543994 (Control)"

"KRFC704FPS04 Arrived to inspect cooling issue. I found the FC with multiple frozen items and the RC at 72 degrees. Test mode 40 showed the three-way valve appearing to be operable, but thermography reveled the RC section never had refrigerant flowing when it was supposed to open in mode 4. Removing the extension wire from the valve assembly caused it to operate and I was able to verify refrigerant flow in step 4 via thermography. All other steps remained as expected. Thermistor testing appeared to match the readings within the two chambers and specifically, the RC was at within two degrees of measured. I tested the system a second time after removing the cable and it worked as designed. The customer will contact us the following day and advise if the cooling normalized. I will reschedule for a tentative date and find if the harness may still be deleted. No leaks observed during service. ; O-emld tckt"

"Arrived on site for an ice machine that is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer explained that the unit does make ice but that the unit makes very minimal amounts of ice. She stated that she was only able to get half of a sheet of ice from each harvest. I found the unit in the middle of an icemaking cycle and found no water in the water reservoir when the unit was trying to recirculate the water. I turned the unit off and ran into into a diagnostic mode. During the fill portion of the cycle, I found water barely trickling into the reservoir. I removed the filter and found an immediate change in water pressure coming into the water reservoir. The customer asked if the filters were only supposed to last two months. I did explain that it depended on several factors, including use and how hard the water supply was. The customer explained that they do have hard water. We went ahead and replaced the filter with another one the customer had bought. I found the new water filter allowed the unit to fill and operate as designed. I did explain to the customer that the filter is the issue and that when this happens, they will need to change their water filter to see if the water filter is the issue. The unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete. No parts were installed."

Informed the customer that the ice that is wet is because the slap is released from the plate with heat, then the ice slab goes onto the cutting grid that use heat to cut it and the IM is not refrigerated to keep the ice frozen. Notified customer that unit should be on its own breaker and also possible the gfci breaker is causing intermittency. WEE515S0LS2 Arrived on site for unit powering off. Proceeded to test unit on Broil at 500 degrees. Left it running for 30 minutes without breaker tripping. Proceeded to transition to Bake at 500 degrees for 30 minutes and still no issues. Factory coating on bake and broil elements have been burned off. Unit is functioning as designed. No parts replaced.

Arrived onsite and installed new door and found big scar in the door skin steel. Ordering another skin to resolve cosmetic issues.; ordrng 1 W11600238 (Door skin)

Arrived onsite and found unit operating with failed damper control and sticking bin. Replaced damper and bin. Unit is now operating as designed. All checks good. Advised customer on repair. Unit is now operating as designed.

"Arrived on site for a wash machine that wont start a cycle. Inspected unit and work area. I ran the unit into diagnostics and found an F2 E1 (Stuck key) error code. I tested the unit several times and found the unit starting and operating as designed. I ran the unit through an auto test and found all portions of the wash machine working properly. The customer came out of the house into the garage and explained that the unit would not start a cycle several times. She advised that she contacted customer service and that they could not help her as well. I asked the customer to show me how she was starting the cycle and the customer was holding the power button to try to start the cycle. I explained to the customer that they will need to press the start button and hold it until all the bars go across for the unit to start and work properly. The customer tried it again and went back to the power button. After showing her how to start the cycle, she was able to start a load of towels and the unit filled and agitated as designed. The end is working an operating as designed. Call complete. No parts were installed."

Arrived onsite and found unit operating with failed touch response. Advised customer on findings and gained access and found moisture corrosion in a few contacts. Cleaned console board electronic contacts to repair All checks good. Unit is now operating properly. Advised customer on major duct restriction and advised customer having the unit duct cleaned. No parts used.

"Ive been on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. I attempted to insert the field trip extension and found that the filter extension would not go past the freezer liner due to the size of the extension. I tried adjusting the filter to compensate, but was unable to. I reassembled the unit and found that from the fill tube even with the extension attached. I called whirlpool techline and spoke to Justin SR# 7739391124. He stated that if there were still leaking happening from the fill tube, there would be a crack in the fill tube, and that he had no further repairs to recommend to fix this issue. He advised that this unit would be sent to review and to let the customer know that whirlpool would be in contact with them or myself depending on the next steps. Call complete. WP2174755."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling properly. Inspected unit and work area. The customer had the unit defrosted and doors opened upon arrival for the previous technicians request. I cant access to the evaporator area and found the evaporator fan running and the defrost heater showing 91.9 ohms of resistance from the freezer molex connector, indicating a good heating circuit. I checked the evaporator thermistor and found it reading 4.45 kg ohms of resistance indicating that the temperature was at 57?F, when the was at room temperature. Ordering the evaporator thermistor and will return with the remaining parts. I rescheduled the customer to 7/9. No parts were installed.; ordrng 1 WPW10384183 (Evaporator thermistor)"

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker working intermittently. Upon further inspection, ran diagnostics on ice maker and found that the ice maker is not functioning correctly.
