"Arrived onsite for dishwasher not draining. On arrival the customer said that water would appear in the unit after it finished a cycle. The water was not there at the end of the cycle it would show up a few hours later. I ran the unit in diagnostics mode, I could hear the water running at a point in the cycle that there should have been no more water going into the unit during the spraying cycle. With the info the the customer gave me I installed a new water inlet valve on the unit. Tested it no water detected during service."

Arrived on site to test unit for leaking from front left corner. Found ice maker fill line was damaged and not allowing compression fitting to seal properly. Cut off damaged line and reattached to fitting. Tested unit and no longer leaking. Job complete.

"Arrived onsite for dishwasher not working with error F8E4. On inspection found water in the overflow tray. Customer said that there was soap in on the floor. I open and a green colored soap, I looked at the dishwasher soap that he had and it was blue. I saw next to the sink a hand soap that was the same color as the soap on the door. Informed the customer of what I found and I vacuumed out the majority of the soap and stuck 1/3 cup of olive oil in the unit and ran a cycle. The majority of the soap is now gone. Told customer to run another 1/3 cup of oil if he sees a lot of soap appear in the bottom of the unit. No water leaks detected during service."

Arrived onsite for a top load washer that is making a noise when in use. Actual complete is that the unit will bang around when in spin cycle. Upon inspection I found that the unit was not leveled I corrected this by adjusting the leveling feet and then ran the unit with clothes in it as to simulate the conditions that the unit will be used under and found that the unit operated as designed no leaks

"WED4850HW0 Arrived to inspect long dry times. I found the unit was heating, but it was very damp internally. Further testing revealed the venting in the residence was severely restricted and with the venting connected there was very little airflow. Disconnecting the venting, the unit operated and cycled as expected and the blower assembly was operating as designed. I advised the customer they will need to contact the builder to have the venting issue corrected."

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher in kosher mode. Upon further inspection, I found the clean light flashing an error code. I advised my customer that the unit is not in kosher mode, but is showing error code F8E4-overfill/switch open. I cleared the code and before starting testing, I removed the toeplate and found a large amount of water in the drip pan below (photo). I found the water source connection with a droplet of water at the elbow (photo). I advised my customer of the leak and removed the drip pan and cleared the water from it (photo). I found water on the floor underneath the unit (photos). I continued with testing and found the water leaking from the valve area. I stopped testing and drained the water and pulled the unit out to inspect underneath the unit. I found the water hose connection cross threaded (photo). I removed the connection from the valve and inspected the threads and they are good. Reconnected the hose (photo) and retested in diagnostics and the unit is operating as designed with no further leaks. I obtained photos of the water damage on the cabinet to the left of the unit; the floors in front of the unit and the floors in front of the refrigerator located to the left of the unit. Customer was able to get a video of the water sloshing under the wood floors at the front of the unit (photo). Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed at the end of service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a wash machine that has a tub that is leaning against the back wall. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised they were running a load of blankets in the unit and that the unit went completely off-balance, and they have been unable to get the tub to level out sense. Found the tub ring stuck underneath the rear panel bar. I removed the tub ring from underneath that bar and check the suspension. Found the suspension was good. I did advise the customer that they cannot wash those types of loads in this machine due to issues with the problem they experienced. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"KBFN502ESS01 Arrived to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I found the unit cold upon arrival, FC 5? and RC 43? and the FC evaporator was completely encased in frost, with ice at the lower portion of the evaporator and defrost element, denoting a working defrost system. Further inspect revealed the FC lower drawer had a rigid, open cell foam block placed in the area of the light switch contact point. The block prevented full closure of the FC door and likely the cause of the persistent evaporator freezing. I removed the block and defrosted the evap, noting the unit started cooling as expected. The customer will contact us if issues persist. Warranty applied to service, no leaks observed during service."

"Arrived onsite for washer making a grinding noise. On inspection ran the unit In diagnostic and the noise was not there. Customer showed me a video of the noise and it was a plastic grinding noise. I gain access to the bottom of the unit and found a white powder in the pulley cover, pulled the cover and dropped the clutch and the teeth on the pulley were round off. Found the teeth on the clutch were round off to. Did not see any oil or other evidence of any other issues. Replaced the splutch and tested the unit. It passed the diagnostics mode, true test will be with clothes in the unit. No water leaks detected during service."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is still making abnormal sounds during the spin portion of the cycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the sound generally happens during the medium spin between the wash cycle and the rinse cycle. She advised that the heavier the load, the less the unit makes the sound, but it will still make the sound. She also said that during the final spin , the noise will be less prevalent at higher speeds. I checked the suspension and found the suspension was good. Ran the unit through diagnostic testing, and everything ran and operated as designed. I checked underneath the unit and found it a slight issue with the belt slipping on the cam. I spoke to GC and was advised to replace the belt, Kim, and actuator in case, if the shifter wasnt properly shifting the unit into a proper spin and causing possible, rubbing sounds. Went ahead and replaced all three parts. I called Whirlpool techline and spoke to Butch SR# 7737233030. I advised him as to what has been done to this unit and all of my checks. The customer requested to show him a video of the sound that she was hearing. He advised that the video did not sound completely abnormal in regards to these units. He stated that because this unit is filled with a lot of mechanical parts, that she may be hearing noises that she may have heard before or new noises from these units, but that because the unit is fully operational and working as designed, he would not repair any other parts due to, the complaint, the customer is giving. Advised that based on what the customer is saying, there is nothing that he can say that would be an issue with the unit, and that there may be some issue with the hoses off the back of the unit or water inside of the water ring making more sound during lower speed spins. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

I replaced the operating thermostat and retested. I verified temps were cycling in the drum with the new thermostat. Unit was overheating due to a failed operating thermostat. Repair completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher gasket issues. Upon further inspection, I found the door gasket was hanging off the tub in the upper left corner. I was able to adjust the gasket and set it back in place. Tested the racks by pulling them out and sliding them back in and found when pulling the 3rd level rack out, the slide lock was grabbing at the gasket. I made recommendations on 3rd level rack use and its movements to my customer as there is no repair to correct this issue other than changing the way the rack is pulled out and slid back in. Arrived onsite for unit not heating. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found heating element failed. Replaced element and tested. Unit is now functioning properly. Job complete

Arrived on site to install new icemaker to resolve no ice condition. Replaced icemaker with new and cycled icemaker. Verified proper harvest completion. Repair completed.

Upon arrived I tested the unit with a cup of water and ran it for 5mins and found the the unit did heat but after 3mins the unit turns off. I am ordering the mag thermistor, control and returning with the mag, cap and diode. "Arrived on site to inspect venthood fan cover cracked and unit not working on low setting. Upon further inspection, I found the blower grill cover is broken and not supporting the blower properly causing the blower wheel to rub on the motor conveyor (photos). According to the manufacturer parts diagram, the grill cover is to be included with the blower assembly and the part prescreened for today does not have it in the box. I am ordering the grill cover and blower assembly and CNOTE-LSO PER CUSTOMER REQUEST and office to schedule return service due to the availability of parts. Unit left unplugged for safety.; ordrng 1 W11099743 (Grill cover) and 1 W11100651 (Blower assembly)"
