Turned on dryer and looked through port hole for flame. Flame was orange red while vent hose was disconnected from the wall. When I put the vent hose back into the wall the flame turned blue. Customer stated they had the vent professionally cleaned recently. After the flame went blue I removed the hose to try the flame check process again and the flame never came back on. Upon further inspection, I found ice buildup under the ice bin and a small piece of ice at the opening of the ice maker fascia. I removed the ice maker housing and found that the ice maker was not seated level and had a tilt towards the front allowing water to spill from the ice tray when water was dispensed into the tray. Also found ice that formed under the ice maker. Removed the ice and seated the tray correctly and tested. The ice maker began harvest and stopped midway. I advised the customer of my findings and attempted to reset the IM by cycling power at the breaker and the IM continued to fail. I am ordering the ice maker and due to the customer leaving before I finished, the office will need to schedule return service. Moved dryer out and checked voltage at the wall and found 250 vac going to the dryer and once I pushed plug back into outlet and tested dryer. Dryer started to heat . DISHWASHER KITCHENAID KDFE104DSS3 Arrived onsite for dishwasher with motor issue. Upon inspection of the diagnostics cycle. I found the motor making a humming and clicking noise. The motor sounded like it was trying to pump water up into the spray arm but was not strong enough to do so indicating a failed or failing pump and motor. I recommended replacing the sump and motor for the repair. The customer agreed so I replaced the sump and motor assembly. I tested the unit again and the sump and it is now working as designed. All functions passed in diagnostics. No leaks were detected during time of service

Upon further inspection, I found that the left RC door inner liner was badly warped (photo) and not engaging the door switch when closed. I tested the door switches by pressing them in and when I released the RC lights came on. Due to the home being a rental, I made a temporary repair by taping a shim to the left inner liner where the switch touches and tested. The light switch is now engaging with the door and turning the lights off/on. I contacted the owner and advised of my findings and that the door will need to be replaced, but that I made a temporary repair in the meantime. WASHER MAYTAG MVWX655DW1 Arrived on site for washer not spinning close it all the way in making a loud noise according to the customer. Upon arrival I enter diagnostics and found an F7E one error code indicating that the main contrl was not detecting the speed of the wash motor. Upon clearing the code and resetting the unit I was able to run a automatic manual and normal test cycle all the way through from beginning to end and was able to verify three times in a row that the ECU is detecting the basket speed as designed but as a precaution since this error code didn’t come up after the repair it would be recommended that we replace the main control in the unit and possibly bring back a motor as well as belt for the unit. Upon arrival I found the temperatures and the fresh fruit and freezer were within safe ranges of 5° and 50°. I also found that the evaporator fan condenser fan as well as the compressor all running upon arrival and after a few minutes of letting the unit run a soon realize that the starter relay connected to the compressor would fail every couple minutes and not allow the compressor keep running and then replace the starter relay and was able to reassemble the unit after testing the unit out I found that the compressor sounded healthier and was running smoother than it was with the old relay on it inform the customer to give it 24 hours to stabilize itNow if the issue were to come back then we would need to order and install a new fresh food cold control thermostat. WASHER WHIRLPOOL WFW94HEXL0 Arrived on site for washer not cycling to wash cycles properly. Unit was also giving a air code indicating a miscommunication between the CCU and the MCU. After checking voltage between the door latch and ACU I found the ICU is not registering the door latch or the MCU trying to engage and then replace ACU and reset the internets factory settings I was in able to get the unit to cycle through a functioning test cycle for about one minute before the unit flash the same error code indicating a miscommunication between the CCU in the MCU. We will need to get authorization from American home shield in order to replace the MCU as well as CCU control boards. WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW4816FW2 Arrived on site for washer needing a previously diagnosed motor & drive belt etc. Upon disassembly and repair I found that the parts needed were strictly the motor and the drive belt the agitator was functioning as designed and show no signs of strip gears or teeth. The gear case was still functioning and also showed no signs of grinding internally and after installing the two needed parts I was able to reassemble the unit I then ran a test cycle and factory reset on the machine and during both test and found that the unit filled agitated and drained and spun with absolutely no odd noises are grinding whatsoever I then ran a normal drain and spin cycle to verify that the motor was completing the cycles as needed. Unit is now functioning as designed with no leaks before during or after repair call complete.

DRYER WHIRLPOOL WED8500DC4 Arrived on site for dryer not turning on according to the customer. Upon arrival I could not find any error codes showing that indicated any kind of hardware or software failure. Upon further inspection found that Ui was receiving the proper DC voltage from the main control but whenever the UI was activated the main control was not registering user input. Oh then replace the main control and recess of the unit and verified that each time the unit was activated it would turn on and run and turn off as design if the issue does come back we will need to return with a new UI panel. OVEN WHIRLPOOL WOS51EC0HS01 Arrived onsite for wall oven that won’t preheat. Upon inspection I found 5 stored error codes for loss of communication between the main control and UI. I accessed the main control and tested voltage at the bake relay during bake. 240Vac is needed for the oven to operate but I found no voltage coming to the bake or broil relay when trying to bake. I accessed and tested the TOD and resistance for the bake element. Both tested good. I advised that the power supply within the wall would have to be inspected by a licensed electrician due to the absent voltage. Job complete.

Upon arrival I inspected the vent hose that was attached to the dryer and found no signs of damage or any evidence of shrinking. The vent hose is made of the hard aluminum metal that keeps its shape and form whatever it is push back against the wall and does not bend or mesh together I did explain to the customer that the venting is indeed working as designed and that there is nothing we can do replacement wise that would resolve any sort of shrinking issue but
