I replaced the antenna and tested unit the unit began to connect to Wi-Fi but would not allow the consumer to do any cooking. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Austin SR# 7731204686. He advised to have the customer on install the appliance and reinstall it using the S a ID code. He also recommended to power cycle the unit as well to help the unit reboot. He advised any further issues to call the Wi-Fi care team for further assistance and if they could not figure out the problem, to re-order the user interface from the world for parts research department. Advised customer of findings. The customer advised that during my conversation, he had uninstalled the app and reinstalled the app. He advised that after that, the unit is now working properly and is able to use his phone to make selections on the unit. Tested dampener from diagnostics and it was opening and closing as designed. UI display leds werent all illuminating. Removed evaporator cover and found block of ice forming on right side from top to bottom of coils. Found large block formed inside the return and covering the return completely. Used steamer to remove ice and placed fridge in a defrost. Defrost heater kicked on as designed. Was able to completely remove all ice build up on evaporator and inside of return. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator losing cool in the freezer compartment. Upon arrival the customer had the unit unplugged and already pulled out. I checked the temps in order to ohm out the thermistors correctly. The FC was at 47?F and the RC was at 65?F. The RC thermistor read 3.53k ohm (which is good), the FC thermistor read 5.72k ohms (which is good), and the FC defrost thermistor at 7.8k ohms (which is good due to having some frost on evap still). I gained access to the FC evap and found ice build up again (Pic in SD). I put the unit into diagnostics mode and ran a short defrost and found the element getting the proper voltage. It also began melting the ice and heated properly. I found all airflow components running as designed in diagnostics test three. I found no ice on the RC evap. I gained access to the pantry UI and found it good. I then ran test four in diagnostics and found it ran through as designed. I checked the harness at the deli control and found it good. I could not replicate a failure at the time of service. Due to the HV control and LED control often throwing each other off to create similar issues, Unit is working as designed at the time of service.

Arrived on site to install damper control to resolve loudly operating damper. Replaced damper control and retested unit. Verified unit working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed RC evap cover and control. Upon arrival disassembled unit and installed new evaporator cover. Reassembled unit and replaced the control on the back. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed control to resolve electrical issues causing unit to cycle. On arrival I disconnected the FC harness from the control to see if the cycling would stop. Found that when the connector with the icemaker and evap fan is disconnected, unit works ok. I removed the evap cover and checked the fan and found scorch marks and burn spots on the wiring harness coming out of the back of the cabinet. Ice had formed around the connector and shorted out the wiring. Tried to dry out wiring and tested fan, but wiring is damaged and fan will not run.

Looked at the unit and saw that the bin is broken and new one needs to be ordered. Was loose at the temperature of the refrigerator. The temperature stayed around 50 degrees. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator not cooling well in the refrigerator compartment. I checked temps and found the RC at 62?F and the FC at 3?F. I ohmd out the thermostat and found it good. I found the damper opening and closing easily, and I could hear the fan running as designed. I gained access to the evap and found significant frost build up. I informed the customer this is causing a lack of airflow to the RC, which is why you are seeing cooling issues. I ohmd out the bi-metal and found it good. I tried to jump the defrost, but it would not start. I then jumped the timer to a defrost and I found voltage from the pink wire on the bi-metal to the white on the heater. I did he same for brown wire on bi-metal and found nothing. I then ohmd out the harness and found it open. I did not visibly see any damage on the harness or molex at the chassis. This indicates an internal harness problem

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. I installed the new fill tube heater and then tested the unit. Water was now going to the IM.No leaks observed at the time of service. Call complete.

I found some frost built up in the back of the IM housing indicating a air leak. But due to the arm missing the customer would like to leave it and see if the issue is corrected. Arrived on site for ICE IS STILL GETTING STUCK IN THE DOOR CHUTE AND MELTS AND LEAKS WATER FROM DISPENSER. Customer stated since last visit the water drips have gotten worse. I tested the flapper to ensure it was opening and closing properly. Looked good. Removed ice bin and cleared out small bits of ice that could be melting when door is opened and closed causing the drips to run into dispenser chute. While inspecting from ice bin area into chute dispenser area I could see tiny gaps allowing light to come through at dispenser chute section. Removed door chute and installed new door chute. Inspected area again and there is no longer any light coming through. Customer understands ice can get trapped inside chute causing it to melt and drip melted ice into dispenser area. New chute is sealing properly. No leaks detected. Job completed.
