I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and the unit operated as designed except for the reservoir drain pump failed to come on. The external drain pump is operating as designed. Also found a crack in the reservoir where the drain pump attaches. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator RC side not cooling. Upon further inspection, the customer had the unit unplugged and advised that the RC evaporator had a large amount of ice on it and the cover. I removed the RC evap cover and found the thermistor blackened and in the wrong position. I advised the customer of my findings and that the thermistor needed to be replaced. Due to this being a re-occurring issue, I removed and replaced the thermistor and secured it to the cap tube (proper placement) with foil tape and ziptie. Placed some silicone inside the wire nuts to prevent moisture getting onto the harness and corroding it. Tested unit and it began to cool as designed and had a good frost pattern. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Found the main gear cracked and replaced it. Tested the unit and still had the same issue. Checked the directional switch as it got to the top due to the Graham hitting it and not stopping. Found a directional switch stuck. Replaced directional switch and tested the unit again The unit still had the same issue. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Rich SR# 7731221834. He advised that I need to check the push to start switch at the pedal to make sure that that was working properly. Found the switch in a close date and replaced it. I tested the dispenser motor and it failed. I removed the dispenser assembly and tested the motor and it is good. I removed the dispenser UI and inspected the ice chute and found the ice chute door broken and not making good contact with switch. I am ordering the ice door seal, insulation, ice door center, ice door chute assembly, spring, hinge pin, & damper rotary. Due to the ice door being broken, it no longer seals, so I recommended that the customer place a wash cloth in the chute to help vent warm air going into the ice bin and melting the ice. I found the vent restricted and not allowing proper air flow. I recommend having someone come out and check the exterior vent. "Arrived on site to inspect microwave heating too hot. Using my multimeter, I got a measuring cup and filled with 10oz of water and using my thermal lead I test3d the temp of the water which was 78 degrees. I placed the cup of water in the microwave and tested on High for 30 seconds. At the end of time, I tested the temp of the water and it showed 106 degrees, a difference of 28 degrees which is within the specified temp range mentioned in the service tech sheet. I advised the customer of my findings and that no repairs are needed at this time.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that?s not keeping temp in the refrigerator section and is forming ice on the back wall. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed customers complaint and found refrigerator evaporator frosted over. Check resistance through the defrost heater and bimetal from the fresh food connector at the wall. Found the circuit open. Removed the connectors on the heater and checked resistance through the harness, buy metal, and heater and found all to be within range. Spoke to SW and was advised to jump across the heater and found proper resistance through the circuit with the heater removed. Was told that the issue is with the heater sporadically making connection and not making connection due to a faulty heater. Replace the heater and tested the unit. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit is seemingly buzzing them would not complete a cycle. Do those last time she used it, the unit overflowed and her washer. Turn the unit on and found water weeping through the cold water valve while not in use. Placed the unit and service diagnostics and found an F8 E1 (low/no water detected) error code. Tested the cold water valve and found the cold water valve barely pulling in water while buzzing. Disconnected the waterline hose and found sand inside the water valve causing the valve to weep in not to pull in proper waterflow. Replaced water valve and tested unit. The unit filled, agitated, drained, and spun as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed system equipment. Upon arrival I was able to recover 3.7 ounces of refrigerant out of the system oh then installed a new compressor UV dryer and access valve put the vacuum on the unit for 20 minutes found out for the vacuum is down that they were no leaks in the system I recharge the system with 3.7 ounces of refrigerant and Allowed the run for another 20 minutes. Upon completion of repairs I found that the psi levels were exactly at zero on the low side and 150 on the high side inform customers it would take 24 hours to let the unit cool call complete
