I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found the IB fan turning on, but the unit not filling again. Upon further inspection I found ice and frost build up on the front of the IM fascia assembly. I gained access to the IM and tried to jump it, but nothing happened. I checked voltage while jumping and found 0VAC. I then tried to call for water at the IM, but it did not work. I did not find the fill line frozen, and there was no longer any ice build up in the IB. I gained access to the control and found a burn out on it. This indicates a faulty control. I checked the units power outage history on the UI and found there had been 7 recent outages. I installed the control and then jumped the fill and harvest. Both were now running as designed. I checked voltage to the IM and now found 120VAC. The unit is now working as designed. No leaks observed at the time of service.

"Arrived on site to inspect frost build up in freezer. Upon further inspection, I found the FC door gasket gapped at the top left side. I found the mullion that separates the RC and FC sections was dented inward approximately 1/8 inch. I adjusted the mullion and FC door brackets and sealed the gap in between the liner and chassis with silicone and tested door closure. FC gasket is sealing properly and no further air leaks. Advised customer of my repairs. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for Not Making Ice - Refrigerator. Inspected ice maker by removing ice bin. Ice maker was turned on. Placed in diagnostics and ran harvest. Found ice maker bail arm was not going all the way down. Upon further inspection I found the bail arm had ice frozen to it at the tip causing it to stop and get caught on the mold tray. Showed customer what I found and removed ice / frost build up from bail arm. Ran harvest again and ice maker is running as designed. Ran water fill test and water filled tray correctly. Completed another harvest to remove water from ice mold. Powered fridge back up and I could hear the ice maker moving into position. Also, found temps set to coldest setting in freezer. Bumped setting down to recommended. No leaks detected. Job completed."

"Arrived on site for an ice machine not working. Upon arrival the customer stated that the unit stopped working after they put a new filter in it. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found all sensors good. I then ran the fill and found the water trickling out with the filter in, but would run fine with the filter taken out and would get to a good water level in the reservoir. This indicates a bad filter. I found the recirculating pump good, the frost pattern good, the gas valve good, but the drain pump not turning on. I let the unit harvest and found the unit would continue to fill and overflow for way to long, and never drain. This indicates a bad drain pump, or water level sensor. I put the unit back into diagnostics mode and let the reservoir fill, and found it not filling any more after it reached the proper level. This eliminates a bad sensor. I then ran the drain pump and measured voltage back into the harness for the pump. I found it good. This indicates a bad drain pump needing to be replaced. I am ordering the drain pump. I advised the customer he needed to replace the filter for the fill to work, and if this does not work then we will need to replace the valve. Due to this, I will be bringing the valve back just in case. Office to reschedule.; ordrng 1 W11542868 (Drain Pump)"

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not getting water. Upon further inspection, I found water in the bottom of the tub. Drained the water and placed in diagnostics showing error code F7E1. Cleared the code and continued with testing. Unit filled with water and the motor failed to come on. Advanced through testing and the dispenser, drain pump and element all functioned properly. I removed and replaced the sump/motor assembly and tested and unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a no cool refrigerator. Upon arrival the unit was unplugged. I plugged in the unit and gained access to the back. I found the compressor running and the start device working as designed. I then put the unit into diagnostics mode and found all airflow components as designed. I gained access to the evap and let the unit run for a while. I found a bad frost pattern being created on the unit. Upon further inspection I found the low side tube coming from the chassis looked a little pinched. This could be causing poor suction and creating the bad frost pattern. I called techline and spoke to Steve and received SR# 7731669891. Steve recommended if the unit continues to have issues, that the customer let the unit run 24 hours at minimum before service. This is in order to check temps and frost pattern. He advised adding service taps to check pressures and for restrictions if the pattern is bad. As of now the unit is running as designed however and advised to not install parts. Call complete."
