Arrived onsite for refrigerator making roaring noise from the back. Upon inspection I found the unit to be making a metal on metal vibrating noise. I accessed the compressor area and found the noise to be coming from the middle of the condenser somewhere. I removed the toe kick and adjusted the bolts securing the condenser bracket in place. After adjusting the bolts I found the noise went away. I found the unit to be sitting on tiles with deep grout joints that could cause the noise when the wheels dip down into the joints. The unit is otherwise working as designed at this time. Job complete.

I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error code F7E5 for shifter fault. I cleared the error codes. I then ran a test cycle and it ran through as designed. I activated the spin and agitate separately. When trying to agitate you could hear the actuator energize, but get stuck and would click over and over again. I gained access to the bottom of the unit and found a severe amount of gear case oil dripping from the bottom. This indicates a bad gear case and actuator.

Washer would not lock the lid in manual or auto diagnostics. Unplugged washer and waited five minutes then plugged back in. Washer still had locked screen. Accessed board and powered down then unplugged lid lock. Waited five minutes and powered up then plugged in lid lock. Screen unlocked. Lid lock causing issues in board and causing errors unrelated to issue. Tested all components once diagnostics allowed me to run through diagnostics cycles. All tested good. Arrived onsite for dryer throwing F6E2 error and not operating. After arriving I confirmed the complaint. I was not able to access diagnostics from the console. I confirmed good voltage and polarity at the terminal block. I removed and replaced the console and main control. I tested the unit using the provided vent test kit. The test showed good airflow in the system. The unit is working as designed at this time. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for wall oven with convection fan issues. Upon arrival I found the issue to be the convection fan would pulse on and off while the door is closed. I accessed the main control and tested resistance of the fan. The fan showed 26ohms which is within range for the fan. I powered the unit on and monitored voltage to the van in convection bake. I found 124Vac to the fan while the door switch is depressed and voltage would drop out when the switch is released. I could not recreate any pulsating fan symptoms and voltage stayed consistent while I had the switch depressed.

I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F4E3 for restricted airflow and F4E4 for L2 voltage error. I cleared the error codes. I then found good voltage at the wall, terminal block, and going to the control. When I started a cycle I found no 240V going from K2 relay. I then gained access to the heating components. I found all thermostats and thermistors ohmd out good. I found the thermal fuse on the blower wheel assembly to be open and bad. (Left side fuse on assembly). "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Upon arrival, the customer advised that the consortium was making a loud noise. As I was removing and replacing the compressor, the customer advised they had a video of the noise. They played the video and the noise played was the sound of an evaporator fan rubbing on ice or another object. I continued with replacing the compressor, access valve and UV dye drier. Vacuumed the system and pressures held. Installed 6oz of R134a refrigerant and monitored pressures. Unit held pressures. I disassembled the RC section to find the RC evaporator motor harness thermistor was blackened and defective. Found water in the bottom of the RC section and cleared it out. Also found it positioned in the wrong place on the evaporator. I removed and replaced the motor harness and secured the thermistor to the suction line with foil tape and ziptie (photo). Also found the drip pan badly warped so I replaced it. While replacing the pan, I found ice behind the evap housing and removed it. I secured the evaporator to the back of the wall/housing with a clamp and ziptie. Reassembled the unit and tested and unit is beginning to cool as designed. No water leaks observed at the end of service, job completed. Recommended that the customer allow the unit to cool for at least 24 hours."

The customer advised that the unit is only doing this sporadically but it?s still happening. He has hooked his washer up to the Wi-Fi to get updates and has done updates as necessary. I did ask the customer if they?ve been hearing a clicking sound due to hearing the compressor clicking on and off. She did advise that the compressor is making a clicking sound. The customer stated that the model and serial tag was wiped off during a cleaning done prior and can not be read. Checked voltage going to the vent heard and found no power. Checked the breaker box for any breakers that might?ve tripped and did not find any breakers in the off position. Flipped off and on all kitchen breakers as the vent hood is not marked. "Arrived on site for refrigerator that?s flashing high temperatures in her refrigerator and freezer sections. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that initially she had an issue with frost buildup around her evaporator but after they got the high temperature code on the refrigerator and freezer, the unit defrosted itself and seem to be holding temperature. Confirmed customers complaint and took temperatures of her refrigerator and freezer section. Found the refrigerator at 36?F in the freezer at -2?F. Spoke to SW and we ran through diagnostics on the unit. All tests ran as designed. She informed me that per the text sheet, if there?s an issue with high temperatures in the refrigerator or freezer sections and that issue clears itself up, the customer is supposed to press and hold the alert reset button to clear the code for the unit to stop flashing the high temp error. Relay the info over to the customer and watch the unit for 15 minutes to ensure the error code did not come back. Unit is working as designed. Call complete."

I checked the gearcase, clutch and slider and all appeared visibly undamaged indicating an internal gearcase failure. Arrived back on site for a recently serviced dishwasher. Customers complaint was the unit wasnt coming on. (CH) Arrived on site to give second opinion on sealed system diagnosis. Upon arrival customer stated they heard a popping noise every few minutes. Gained access to the compressor and confirmed the sound was the start device shutting on and off. I ohmed out and took an amp raw on the compressor and everything checked within specifications. I replaced the start device and found no issues with the operation of the compressor. I let the unit run for about 20 minutes and found no issues while it was operating. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for Frig IM not making ice, Frig light dim and freezer LED light not working. Found freezer section had frost inside on top shelf / rack equivalent to door being left open for a period of time. This caused the door switch to become stuck in the off position not allowing it to switch open and turn on the light. Cleared away ice around switch and light lit up as designed. Inspected all four sides of freezer door gasket and all four sides are sealing and seated as designed when door is closed. Cleared ice off of rail to allow freezer door to open and close naturally. Found fridge led pack had one shorted led inside. Removed led pack and installed new led pack. All lights illuminating as designed. Removed ice maker and found fill tray frozen solid. Valve that supplies water to both water dispenser and ice maker is weeping water into the ice maker tray causing blocks of ice to form thus making the ice dispenser auger not turn as it should due to blocks of ice formed in ice tray. Same weeping valve is also leaking water underneath the ice bin causing blocks of ice. This makes it very difficult to remove the ice bin. Ordering valve W11043013 to return and complete the repair. NOTE: Call customer prior to arrival and ask that they remove all food items from the right side of the fridge to allow easy access to valve cover for valve replacement.

"Arrived on site ran diagnostics E5 error still present asked customer if power was ever cycled after last repair customer stated unit was never power cycled during repair. Power cycled unit ran harvest test passed,ran error test no errors ran fill test passed,ran ice box fan good air flow."

Arrived on site for a dishwasher throwing an F2E2 error code. Upon arrival the unit was throwing the code. Due to this the UI was unresponsive to anything. Cycling the power to the unit did not change anything. I gained access to the control and unplugged the UI from the control. I then plugged the unit back in and waited roughly 10 seconds. Once I closed the door the drain pump kicked on. This built in test per tech sheet indicates a faulty UI. I am ordering the UI and will return to install.

"Arrived on site for a dryer that is not completing cycles during autho sensing dry cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit was eating even on air fluff. Tested the heater and found heater good. Replaced the cycling thermostat. Tested the unit again and found the unit cycling properly and not heating on air fluff but the timer still not advancing. Spoke to SW and ran a couple checks through the sensor and found the sensor working properly. Replace the timer and tested the unit. Still could not detect the timer advancing. Was advised again that there could be an issue with the moisture sensor and to replace that. Replaced the moisture sensor and test the unit again.The customer let the unit run for an hour and the unit still would not advance. I called whirlpool Techline and spoke to Sterling SR# 7731309114. He advised that I needed to check the yellow and red wires at the electronic control to chase ground. If I had an open line, the sensor is good. He then advised to check the orange and white to tan white for 120 V. Then check orange and white to black and white to see if I have 120 V. If I have 120 V at the orange and white to tan and white but don?t have 120 V from orange and white to black and white, the issue is with the control. If I have both at 120 V, the issue would be with the wiring harness. Spoke to customer about options on ordering parts due to the wiring harness being a PSP item.=; ordrng 1 W10853313 (sensor) and 1 WPW10476828 (cntrl-elec)"

Arrived on site for range not allowing top burner functions to any burners. Upon arrival I verified complaint and found burners not working. Also inspected power from main controls to infinite switchs was fully present with 240v. Found after testing switchs that all 4 infinite switchs are burnt up and not allowing proper voltage readings. Also found all 4 burners and receptacles completely caked in grease and other debri. In order to complete repairs we will need new 4 new burners as well as all infinite switchs and possibly 4 receptacles. (CH) Arrived on site for refrigerator FC fan rattling. Upon arrival confirmed the fan was going going bad and rattling during operation. Replaced FC fan motor and tested the unit. All functions are operating as designed. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for dishwasher not power on. Upon arrival found unit was not wired in. Wired unit in and tested unit is now operating as designed. Job Completed.

Arrived on site to replace control board. Replaced board test unit and unit test good job complete.

Arrived on job for complaints of error code. Code is for heater not being sensed by control. Replaced both heater and control. After replacement test operation. No leaks detected at time of service.

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Due to the valve not closing and the left FC door having water spots from the water dispenser dripping, I removed and replaced the valve and door and tested. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
