REFRIGERATOR GE DSE25JSHECSS "arrived on site to inspect refrigerator water dispenser not working. Upon further inspection, I tested the dispenser and it dispensed a little water then slowly went to a trickle to nothing at all. I could hear the valve coming on when I pressed the dispenser paddle. I removed and replaced the filter housing and tested and the unit is operating as designed. I placed a new filter the customer provided and retested and again it operated as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
REFRIGERATOR KITCHENAID KRFC604FSS00 "arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=-2 on setting of -6 & RC=50 on setting of 34 degrees. I removed the bottom drawer and found a large amount of ice built up on the RC evaporator. I advised the customer of my findings and advised that I would have to come back and allow them to defrost the unit in order for me to complete the repair. I had the customer sign a waiver of damages from defrosting refrigerator and advised them to pull the unit out and place towels around it to protect the baseboards from water leakage. I found a service pointer W11329116C, that provides an SCODE (S27311) covering parts & labor.
DISHWASHER WHIRLPOOL WDT730PAHZ0 "arrived on site to insect dishwasher leaking water. Upon further inspection, the customer had the toeplate removed and a towel under the water valve. I moved the towel and found the valve leaking water. Also found water damage to the floor (photos). I turned the water source off under the sink and found that the valve under the sink was leaking so I advised the customer. When I remove the water hose connection from the valve, water continued to run out of the water hose at a slow rate. I turned my wet vac on and butted the hose up to the water hose until I was done replacing the valve. I removed and replaced the water inlet valve and then found that the washer in the hose was bad due to the installer tightening the hose connection too tight to the valve causing the washer to tear (photo). REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRS555SIHZ00 "arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit still has warranty and provided a letter from Lowe’s in which I took a photo of for warranty proof. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the ice maker and found the IM will harvest but the water does not dispense into the tray. I can hear the valve turning on to dispense the water. I checked the connection at the bottom left hinge and disconnected the water line to the IM and blew into it. I could not blow through the line meaning it’s clogged or blocked. I advised the customer of my findings and advised that I would have to order a door.I also advised that once the door is received, our office will contact the customer and schedule return service. I am ordering the left FC door in SS. Office to schedule return service. No water leaks observed during service.; ordrng 1 LW11026425 (DOR-FIP SS)"
WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW8500DC2 "arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. The customer agreed to the repair of replacing the gearcase & clutch. I removed and replaced the gearcase and clutch and calibrated the unit. Tested in diagnostics and it operated as designed. I manually tested the spin, agitate & drain modes and the unit operated as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. I advised customer of one year warranty on parts and labor."
WASHER WHIRLPOOL WFW72HEDW0 "arrived on site to inspect washer timer not advancing. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit appeared to be resetting itself as it will get to a certain time and appear to be repeating the spin mode. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested. Unit operated as designed until it got to the spin mode when it began to badly shake. I found that the shipping bolts had not been removed after they moved into the home. I removed the bolts and retested and the unit operated as designed.No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
WASHER WHIRLPOOL MVWB835DC3 "arrived on site to inspect washer not turning on. Upon further inspection, I found the unit unresponsive. I verified voltage at the outlet and found it to be a GFCI outlet. I verified voltage to the unit and the green light flashing. Following the tech sheet, I tested voltage and resistance to the control and UI console and found the console needs to be replaced. I removed and replaced the console ad retested. Unit operated as designed. I advised the customer of my findings and repairs. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
COOKTOP WHIRLPOOL WCG55US0HS00 "arrived on site to inspect cooktop flames and grates. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit is supplied with natural gas as the grates are badly warped. I confirmed the grates being warped and I tested all four burners. The flames were correct as they were blue with an occasional reddish/orange tip. I advised that the reddish/orange tips were normal due to possible pipe dope (sealant) on the lines and in the lines that’s mixing with the gas flow. I removed and replaced the grates and tested with a pan and they were good. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."
RANGE WHIRLPOOL WFE510S0HS1 "arrived on site to inspect range oven door gasket. Upon further inspection, I found the left end of the gasket was not tucked inside the cabinet like it should be. I pulled the left end out and attempted to reinstall it, but in the process of pulling it out, the gasket got caught on some metal and frayed the gasket. I am ordering the gasket ; ordrng 1 WPW10658354 (gaskt-door)"
OVEN WHIRLPOOL WOD51EC0HS01 "arrived on site to inspect wall oven not heating, upon further inspection, I place the unit in diagnostics and found error code F8E1-fan speed. I tested the fans in diagnostics and tested voltage on high speed and low speed ad got 124V with both speeds. I checked VDC at the P4 connection and got 8VDC. I tested the bottom oven fan and got the same results. I am ordering both (2) fans and lower oven control ; ordrng 2 W11248652 (BLOWER)s and 1 W11261167 (CONTROL)"
WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW8500DW5 "arrived on site to inspect washer hot valve. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error codes F3E2, F0E4, F8E1. I cleared the codes and continued with testing. Unit operated as designed but the hot water was slow to dispense. I removed the water hoses from the valve and found a large amount of debris in the valve screens and some in the hoses. I cleaned the hoses and flushed them and removed and replaced the water valve. Calibrated the unit and retested and it operated as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
RANGE WHIRLPOOL WFG505M0BS3 "arrived on site to inspect range not heating evenly. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit isn’t coming on fast enough. Customer advised that he looked it over and didn’t see anything wrong with it. I removed the oven bottom panel and turned the oven on Bake at 350 sheesh and the Ignitor came on and the burner lit within 20 seconds. I reinstalled the bottom panel and using my multimeter I placed my thermal lead in the middle of the center rack and tested temps on Bake at 350 degrees. My preheat temp was 448 degrees. My next three readings were 336, 399, 342 for an average of 359 degrees. I tested the cooktop burners and all were operating as designed. I advised the customer of my findings and advised no repairs were needed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."
DISHWASHER GE GDT695SMJ2ES "arrived on site to inspect dishwasher with no power. Upon further inspection, I found the unit with no response. Customer advised they checked the breaker and still nothing. I verified voltage at the outlet under the sink and then checked the breaker. I found it’s a GFCI breaker. I pressed the test button and it tripped. When I turned it off then back on, the unit came on. I advised the customer to have the breaker checked by a licensed electrician and that the breaker would possibly need to be changed to a non GFCI breaker. Tested the unit and it operated as designed. No water leaks observed during service,.
MICROWAVE KITCHENAID KOCE500ESS08 "arrived on site to inspect microwave/oven combo error codes. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F1E5-inverter board. I removed the unit from the wall and inspected the connections as described in tech sheet. I found that the outside of the wave guide was damaged. I removed the magnetron and found it damaged. I took photos of the magnetron and wave guide and advised the customer that I would have to contact our Techline . I reassembled the unit and placed it back in its space. Job completed."
REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRX986SIHZ00 "arrived on site to inspect refrigerator no cool. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=65 degrees & RC=62 degrees. Placed the unit in diagnostics and ran test #4. The FC Evap never frosted up other than the top front coil. The compressor and condenser fan came on. Once I took the unit out of the diagnostics, the compressor sounded as if it shut off. I am ordering the compressor, Fac evaporator, dryer, access valve, CNOTE-2HR JOB, CNOTE-AUTHORIZATION. No water leaks observed during service. REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRT518SZFM00 "arrived on site to inspect refrigerator frost build up. Upon further inspection, the customer opened the FC door and I found ice built up across the top of the cabinet at the door. I closed the door and found a gap in the door gasket at the top left corner. I placed my flashlight inside the FC section and closed the door and could see the gap even better (photo). I placed my level at the top left corner of the unit and found that the cabinet was badly warped upon repair. Also found that the center mullion on the top left corner was badly warped as well causing a gap in the RC door gasket. I contacted Techline and spoke to Scott and advised him of my findings No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
MICROWAVE WHIRLPOOL WOC54EC0HS00 "arrived on site to inspect microwave/oven wall unit display not working. Upon further inspection, I attempted to place the unit in diagnostics but it failed. I cycled the power to the unit and then attempted diagnostics again and was able to get into it. The unit showed no error codes and when I pressed on a button, the response was intermittent. I removed and replaced the console and retested. Unit is operating as designed. Job completed."
WASHER WHIRLPOOL WFW96HEAC0 "arrived on site to inspect washer error code. Upon further inspection, placed unit in diagnostics showing error code F8E1. Cleared the code and continued with testing. Unit operated as designed with no error codes at the end of testing. I contacted Techline and spoke to Joel and explained the issues and repairs made. For the issues with the dispenser, he had me change the settings to 2x and hard water. Also found that the drain hose was too far into the drain pump pipe, so I repositioned it and ziptied it the the water hose. He had me test the unit in drain & spin mode with extra rinse cycle on. The display showed this would take approximately 29 mins. When the timer got to 01 mins remaining, the unit was continuing to dispense water into the drum and the timer would not change. After approximately 10 mins with the timer showing 01, Joel advised that the unit would not be dispensing water and should have gone into spin mode. Joel advised to order the Expans
OVEN WHIRLPOOL GBD307PRS03 "arrived on site to inspect wall oven error code. Upon further inspection, I find the display showing error code F2E0-bad key function. Following the tech sheet, I hit cancel and waited approximately 1 min and the code never reappeared. I turned the power off to the unit then cycled it back on and tested on Bake at 350 degrees. The unit operated as designed; however I noticed that when I pressed the cancel button, part of the lower oven temp display would blink on/off. When I turned the lower oven on and turned it off, the upper oven temp display blinked as well. I contacted Techline and spoke to Andy and advised of my findings and he advised to replace the keypad. DRYER WHIRLPOOL WGD4815EW2 "arrived on site to inspect dryer noises. Upon further inspection, customer advised that the unit is making a thumping noise like it was before. I opened the door and turned the drum by hand and didn’t hear the noise. Keeping the door open, I pressed the door switch and turned the unit on and could hear the thumping noise he described. I lied Ted the top panel and removed the front panel to find a pebble wedged in the seal and a melted crayon in between the seal and the front panel. I removed the debris and reassembled the unit and retested. The unit operated as designed. No lint observed and no gas leaks detected during service.Job completed."
