DISHWASHER KITCHENAID KDTE704DBL0 "arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. At the previous service call, I found that the water valve was bad. Today, I removed and replaced the water valve and tested the unit. It operated as designed with no error codes. I advised the customer of the repair. I did not need the UI panel previously diagnosed nor the control that I returned with today. No water leaks observed during service, job completed.

DISHWASHER KITCHENAID KDTE104ESS4 "arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered part. I pulled the unit from its place and removed the water valve and drain pump and drain hose from the unit. I placed a blanket down on the floor to work on to avoid any damage to the floor. I remove all removeable parts from the original tub and placed them on the new tub. I placed the unit back in its place and reinstalled the water valve and drain pump and hose and tested the unit. The unit operated as designed with no water leaks observed during service. Also, the top rack no longer rolls forward when the door is open. I found that the retainers are missing from the toe plate; therefore, I am ordering two retainers and scheduled return service for 12/11/18.; ordrng 2 WPW10503548 (retainer)s"

Upon further inspection, I found lots of water on the floor near the back and sides on the unit and some in the front of the unit on the floor. I pulled the unit forward and found the hot water hose leaking at the valve connection ad running down the back of the unit (picture taken). I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and there were no error codes. The unit operated as designed and I found no other leaks. I advised the customer of my finding and advised ther t(e water hose was leaking pretty badly. I removed the hoses to inspect the valve and found some debris inside the inlet area. I advised the customer that I am ordering the valve and the hoses will be also. The customer advised that he will purchase the hoses on his own. I advised the customer that our office would have to get authorization for the parts and once they get authorization, the office would contact him to schedule return service. I put

REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRF560SMYB02 "arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, I found that the unit was in the living room and not the kitchen. I opened the rc doors to find it warm inside. Using my multimeter, I placed my thermal lead inside and read temps. The temp reading inside the fc section was minus 19 (-19) degrees. I found a large amount of ice buildup on the evap cover. I ran the unit through diagnostics and it tested good. I could not test the ice maker due to no water connections to the unit. I found gapping between the fc section cabinet and the chassis. Using manufacturers approved silicone, I sealed the gapping. I removed the back cover and inspected the drain tube and found it good with no gaps. The customer advised that the unit would eventually be moved to the kitchen. I advised the customer that he needed to defrost the unit to get rid of the ice buildup which looks to be due to the doo being left open. The unit is not level and square

WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW4816FW2 "arrived on site to inspect washer drum dropping. Upon further inspection, I opened the lid to inspect the drum and found it sitting normal. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested with no error codes in the beginning. The unit operated and designed. I questioned the customer as to what their complaint was and they advised that the unit was making a loud squeaking noise and was intermittent and the tub dropped down during a wash. I placed the unit in manual test mode and tested the high speed spin and could not duplicate the noise. I placed it in high agitate and again got nothing. I tilted the unit back to inspect the motor and found the motor bolt was loose. While tightening the bolt, I found water leaking from the drain hose. I found that the drain hose at the back of the unit had come loose and was leaking water. I reattached the hose and adjusted the clamp ad it was secured. I tested the unit one more time and it operated as designed and there were

WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW4800XQ2 "arrived on site to inspect washer not operating. Upon further inspection, I found the unit full of clothing and the lid lock light flashing. The clothing was removed and I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested with error codes F8E1. I cleared the code and continued with testing. At the end of testing, there were no error codes; however, there was still water in the bottom of the tub but the drain pump engaged. I placed the unit in manual test mode and turned the drain pump on and it slowly drained the water. Once the water was drained, I tilted the unit back and removed the drain pump to inspect it. I found that a sock and bra wire were stuck in the drain hole and causing the drain pump to pump the water out slowly. I removed the blockage and reinstalled the drain pump and tested the unit and when the unit was supposed to agitate, the unit shut down. I removed the control panel to expose the control ad using my multimeter, I tested the J16 connection at

RANGE WHIRLPOOL WFG320M0BS0 "arrived on site to inspect range having a delayed ignition. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit was turned on and the oven didn’t light for a long time, then when it did light, there was a loud boom. I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked for error codes and there were none. I took it out of diagnostics and turned the unit on Bake at 350 degrees and removed the bottom cover to expose the Ignitor and burner. The Ignitor came on and flowed for almost 3 minutes but the burner never ignited. I turned the unit off and unplugged it and removed the back bottom cover to expose the Ignitor wires and the safety valve. Using my multimeter, I verified ohms to the safety valve and Ignitor. Both were good; however, the Ignitor appears to be weak due to the burner not igniting and one could smell gas. I removed and replaced the Ignitor and tested the unit and within seconds, the burner ignited. I advised the customer of my finding and repair.

Upon further inspection, the customer explained that she is getting white residue on the clothing after washing and she provided me with a shirt as an example. The customer advised that she is using a full cup of detergent for each wash and she has changed detergents to experiment and she got the same results. The customer advised that they do have a water softener in their home. I advised the customer that they are using too much detergent as the unit doesn’t use as much water as an older unit would. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested with no error codes in the beginning. At the end of testing, the unit operated as designed with no error codes at the end. Per service pointer #W11042572, I am ordering kit #W11111464 and scheduled return service for 12/13/18. The kit is a control. Hole I was on site, the unit began to knock and it sounded like it was down low and in the back of the unit. I pulled the unit from its place and removed the back cover. While behind the unit I could hear the knocking noise again. I removed the fc door and drawers to expose the evaporator. I did not hear the noise anymore. I contacted Techline and spoke to Rick who advised to checked the high line and make sure it has a sealer on it to keep it from vibrating against the Evap cover, which it does. Rick advised to check the dye dryer and position it horizontally to help the refrigerant flow more freely. He provided file #7723613363.
