ICE MACHINE KITCHENAID KUIS18NNTW1 KUIS18NNTW1 Arrived to instal previously ordered parts. I moved and replaced the smart valve and circulation pump assembly. I tested the unit through service test mode and all functions were present. The unit started production during normal mode and developed a nice frost pattern in the evaporator plate. No leaks observed during service.
DRYER LG DLEX2501W "DLEX2501W Arrived to inspect no heat. I found the unit had experienced a failed thermal device, as in prior service and I removed and inspected the element. The element showed signs of airflow restriction and I removed and replaced it, after quoting the customer. I reassembled and tested the unit and found after 10 minutes of operation the unit had internal air plenum measured cycling temperatures of 130 to 201 degrees average over three cycles at high temperature setting and with a very good rate of temperature decline. Manual and automatic dry both tested the same. The internally measured no load temperature tests show no issues with the relays on the control and denote very good airflow. I advised the customer of my findings, repair and testing.
OVEN WHIRLPOOL KODE500ESS02 "KODE500ESS02 Arrived to inspect error. The unit had a stuck key error code stored and the customer said that it would error daily. I removed and replaced the UI and tested. The issue appeared to be fully corrected. The customer contacted the mfg during service and they provided a concession, KHTCP00DPL1. Operational test good."
REFRIGERATOR KITCHENAID KRMF706ESS01 "KRMF706ESS01 Arrived to inspect erratic operation. The unit would register door open and in test mode 16 and 17, only show the door open. I found one of the wires to the pantry UI had broken. I soldered the wire and then heat shrunk to prevent water incursion and tested. The unit operated as designed and normal operation resumed. No leaks observed during service."
WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW5000DW2 "WTW5000DW2 Arrived to inspect no wash. The unit had F7E6 stored in memory. I found the gear case appeared to be slightly tighter than expected on the inner drive portion of the input shaft, but the unit did pass calibration and automatic service mode testing with all functions present. I advised the customer to attempt use of the unit and to contact us if there are further issues. I allowed the unit to agitate in high speed mode for several minutes. No leaks observed during service."
DISHWASHER KITCHENAID KDTE304GPS0 "KDTE304GPS0 Arrived to inspect leak. 2-1, 5-1 error codes stored in memory. I found after discussing the issue with the customer that the rinse agent dispenser was requiring refilling every 1.5 months and will require replacement. I tested within service test mode and all functions were present and there were no fill issues. Office to order dispenser and 2x panel fasteners. REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WSF26C2EXY02 WSF26C2EXY02 Arrived to instal parts. I removed the faulty door closer assembly and installed the replacement. I tested the door and it opened and closed as designed. No leaks observed during service.
ICE MACHINE WHIRLPOOL GI15NDXTB1 "GI15NDXTB1 Arrived to inspect no ice. I found the unit was running and all functions except proper cooling were present. The evaporator plate had signs of corrosion and replacement would be necessary. The customer elected to shop around for a replacement and I advised them the quote would be good for 30 days. Due to recent prior service, warranty applied to diagnosis."
DRYER WHIRLPOOL WED8540FW1 "WED8540FW1 Arrived to inspect no heat. I found the unit would power up, but not heat. Inspection revealed L1 and L2 connections reversed, but not consequential. The L2, connected to the unit’s L1 connection showed 124.8 VAC. The L2 terminal had 6.5 VAC and when tested L1 to L2, showed 86 VAC. I advised the customer of my findings and that they will need to contact a qualified electrician to corrected the voltage supply issue. I found the terminal block was not correctly installed and mounting hardware loose and I corrected. No lint within newer chassis, no leaks observed during service."
RANGE KITCHENAID KDRS467VSS01 "KDRS467VSS01 Arrived to inspect ignition issue. I found the RR would not ignite or spark and the center front would intermittently spark. I found the burners required cleaning to correct bad continuity for the ignition system. I cleaned and tested all burners and regular ignition resumed. Operational test good, no gas leaks detected during service. PR190
RANGE WHIRLPOOL WFG550S0HZ0 "WFG550S0HZ0 Arrived to instal parts. I removed and replaced both the control and ignition and tested. The unit would not engage the bake or broil. I inspected the entire electrical system and found no deficiencies, but operation suddenly returned. I am suspicious the gas valve connection may have had a connection issue and resetting connections corrected. Operational test good, no gas leaks detected during service."
WASHER MAYTAG MVWB835DC3 "MVWB835DC3 Arrived to inspect noise. I found the unit would squeak during agitation, denoting an issue with the inner driveshaft seal. I removed and replaced the gear case assembly and calibrated the machine. I tested within manual and automatic service test modes and the unit operated as designed without generating any codes. No leaks observed during service."
WASHER WHIRLPOOL MHW8200FC0 "MHW8200FC0 Arrived to inspect codes. I found F9E1, F8E3 and F3E1 stored. I removed water from the unit and found debris blocking the drain pump screen and removed it. I ran the unit in test mode to remove excess detergent. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service. FL250
OVEN WHIRLPOOL WOD51EC0AS05 "WOD51EC0AS05 Arrived to inspect temperature issues. The customer had a home inspector inform them the unit was off by 50 degrees. I tested at 350 and the unit claimed preheat at the 332 and climbed out to 352 and the declined. 320, 388, 351, 389. I induced a -15 degree calibration and advised the customer. The lower door was having difficulties closing and I found it required hinge adjustment. During the adjustment I discovered the unit’s mounting hardware had never been installed, including installation holes that were missing. I informed the customer they will have to contact the builder as the mfg will not cover installation issues."
WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW7000DW3 "WTW7000DW3 Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I removed and replaced the faulty gear case and installed the replacement. I tested through multiple automatic service test modes and it passed with no errors each time. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."
MICROWAVE KITCHENAID KMBS104ESS02 "KMBS104ESS02 Arrived to inspect door error. The unit would intermittently request the door to be opened and closed prior to use. REFRIGERATOR KITCHENAID KRMF606ESS01 "KRMF606ESS01 Arrived to inspect no lights. I found the unit had no interior lighting and would not register the door position correctly within test mode 16 and 17. The unit called for cold and operated the fans erratically. After cycling power, the unit resumed apparent normal operation. The control will require replacement. I found the ice maker housing incorrectly seated, the right door requires squaring and the bottom right of the fc opening will require adjustment as well. Tech GC only and please allow two hours. MICROWAVE WHIRLPOOL WMH32519HZ2 "WMH32519HZ2 Arrived to inspect loss of UI. The unit would intermittently loose UI, but the buttons reacted to presses. The intermittent UI could only be corrected by cycling power to the unit completely off and then back on. I removed and replaced the UI and main control and tested. Operational test good."
