The customer advised the timer got so hard to turn that it broke the knob and that even trying to use a pair of pliers, theyre unable to get the timer to move. I did confirm the customer complaint and replaced both the timer and knob. Tested the unit and the unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete."

Found the timer not moving and found the knob broken. Customer advise of the knob was really hard to turn from the jump when they bought it, but that they were unaware that the knob had broken. I replaced the timer but will need to order the knob for full repair. I ran the unit through a calibration cycle and the unit ran as designed. Tested the unit in an auto task in the unit ran as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is going off balance. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit has been going out of balance erratically for a while, but every single load seems to be off balance at this point. Ran unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Around the unit through an auto test and found during the spin portion of the cycle, what sounded like dry bearings and the unit shaking violently. Went to go replace the gear case and found that the agitator was completely seized onto the driveshaft, indicating that the unit needed a complete rebuild. Ordering the tub, basket, agitator, hub, assembly, screws, Gear case, and cam for repair. The office will need to contact the extended warranty for authorization due to cost of repair and need for a second technician. I made the customer aware that if the extended warranty did not cover the second man that they would need to cover that cost for the repair. The office will need to contact the customer about a return date due to several out of stock and PSP items if authorization is needed.
