Arrived on site to install previously diagnose to park. Inspected unit and work area. Replaced the user interface and tested the unit. I found the unit working in operating for diagnostics with all tasks passing. I ran the unit through a normal icemaking cycle and the unit began to work and operate as designed going through the first cycle. I advise the customer to call me back after two hours to determine if the unit was continuing to run. hours later and the customer advised that the unit was still making ice and was still continuing to run. I advise the customer to call back if any other issues persist. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for an ice machine. That is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit will make one batch of ice if they turn it on, but will not continue to make ice after that first batch. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found all tests pass. Checked resistance on the bin through Mr. and found it at 2.7 kg ohms of resistance. I ran through a normal icemaking cycle and found the unit make a full slab of ice. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Nate SR# 7737095621. He had me toggle the max ice setting and found the unit come on. He advised that the issue is most likely with the user interface due to all components working properly, and that there have been service pointers on other ice machines that have the same issue. Advised to order the UI but to return with the control as well just in case. Ordering both parts in the office will need to contact the customer about a return date due to limited parts availability.; ordrng 1 W10893341 (UI) and 1 W11034363 (Control)"

"Arrived on site for an ice machine that is still not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit stopped making ice again and has been flashing to max ice and on and off lights. Tested the unit on a maxi setting and found the unit fill, recirculate, harvest, and start a new cycle without indicating a harvest failure. I called whirlpool Tech line and spoke to Rich SR# 7735835310. He advised that because of whats already been replaced on this unit, the only thing he can advise to replace at this time would be the main wire harness that connects onto the pump harness and control. Spoke to JC and was advised to replace the pump harness and wear a harness together. Sat through another icemaking cycle and found the unit harvest and then start making a new batch as well. Advise the customer to keep an eye on the unit and to call back if their issues cease. Ordering the main wire harness and rescheduled the customer to 4/4. ; ordrng 1 W11123917 (Main Harness)"

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. Replaced the compressor, evaporator, access valve, dryer, and hot gas valve and reassembled the unit. Ran nitrogen through the system up to 135 psi and found no leaks present. Vacuumed down the unit to -31 psi and pressure held for 10 minutes. Charged the unit up with 5.75 ounces of R134A. The unit begin to work and operate as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for an ice machine that is still not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. Ran unit through diagnostics and found all tests pass. On the unit on and ran through an ice making cycle. From the unit recirculating and cooling the water but ice not form. I called Whirlpool tech line and spoke to Robert SR# 7735835310. He advised that because of the corrosion on the wiring and connectors, to order the sealed system and control for repair. Ordering all pertinent parts near me a therapist will need to get authorization for the repair in contact the customer when parts are made available if you several out of stock and PSP items. If authorization is given, please schedule service for at least three hours due to multiple sealed system components in the drive time to get here.; ordrng 1 WPW10605286 (Compressor) and 1 WPW10534030 (Hot gas valve) and 1 WP2313624 (Condenser) and 1 WPW10218037 (Evaporator) and 1 WPW10143759 (UV drier) and 1 W11506635 (Access valve) and 1 W11034363 (Control) and 1 Nitrogen (Nitrogen), states that autho needed"
