Arrived on site for a dishwasher that has a Field Wash Motor. Inspected unit and work area. I ran the unit through diagnostics and confirmed an F4 E3 (wash motor not running) error code. I went ahead and replace the pump and motor assembly. The unit was not hooked up to any water supply or drain as it was on the showroom floor. The unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for an ice machine. That is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit does make a slab of ice but that the ice does not ever drop. I confirmed two spots on the grid cutter that were completely snapped causing the issue. I replaced the grid cutter and tested the unit. The ice machine is working and operating as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a range that has a coil that wont work. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the left front coil was not working and so she tested the right rear and found the right rear element functional. She attempted to switch the elements to see what would happen and found that the left front element came on when she switched the coil elements. I did test the right rear element, which is the element in question to see if it would heat and found that it would not heat on the right rear burner or the left front, but the other coil would on both switches. I went to replace the element and found that the elements out with me was the smaller element and not the element needed. Ordering parts and rescheduled the customer to 4/15. ; ordrng 1 W11396792 (Right rear element) and 1 WP3149400 (Infinite switch)"

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that they had defrost the unit after they initially called in and have plugged in two days ago to get the unit running. I found temperatures in the freezer at 0?F in the refrigerator at 38?F. I gained access to the control and checked all thermistors. I found the defrost sensor at 25.7 K ohms (-4?F), the freezer thermistor at 22.9 k ohms (1?F), and the refrigerator thermistor reading 7.5 k ohms (38?F). I found the defrost heater registering 89.9 ohms of resistance indicating a good circuit. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Robert SR# 7738013150. He buys the all the individual components seem to be within range and that his natural inclination would have been to replace the control. However, because we have already done that, he wouldnt throw another one at it. He advised that because of the ongoing issue and the fact that we have replaced everything in the circuit to fix this without an actual fix, he would send the unit for lead review. He advised to make no repairs at this time. Call complete."
